  1. Alice Cooper on one of my top 5 personal grail projects of all time.
  2. Motor City Comic Con had in attendance Alice Cooper, Jim Cummings, and Rob Paulsen. Matthew Parton was up to the task for a Scooby mashup. His only request was that he could add muppets and Sesame Street to it cause it would fit his idea so I agreed. The only problem was that show was in 2020 so, Covid cancelled the show. I could have had Rob and Jim sign this at least a dozen times over if not more but I kept holding off. With my luck, Alice Cooper would have a last minute appearance when this book was at CGC, another show, in the mail, or you get the picture... Rich Henn had a last minute horror show in November and he was only taking requests from one person. Finally got Alice Cooper and was just glad he didn't say no since it is a bit cartoony. Thank you @Rich_Henn.
  3. Updated Piece: Scooby as a X-Wing Fighter by Greg Woronchak - Signed by Dennis Lawson X-Wing Fighter Wedge Antilles - Signed by Stephen Costantino Gamorrean Guard - Signed by David Antrum voice actor for Wedge Antilles (Loved it and wanted to take a photo of it) - Signed by Warren Proulx Jr. (Storm troopers, Tusken Raider, Stunt Double for Obi Wan Kenobi) - Signed by Mark Anthony Austin Bounty Hunter Boba Fett for 1997 Special Edition of Star Wars a New Hope
  4. Signed by Walt Simonson and Joe Staton thanks to @Rich_Henn from Baltimore Comic Con Mark Jeweler Insert and the star on the cover.
  5. Good luck with the grade, never seen this version before!
  6. Keep loosing this thread, so haven't posted these here yet. Joe Staton remarques with Michael Kraiger signatures
  7. Hershey Comic Con 2023: Small two day show that I didn't attend and usually a type of show that doesn't have CGC presence. But due to a few big names, there was a facilitator on the premises that allowed mail in submissions. Normally wouldn't do this many at one show, BUT the writer Michael Kraiger was present. To my knowledge, Michael has only been at two shows the past three years that had a CGC presence, with four shows total at all as he usually only does small shows or appearances on behalf of the Kubert Art School. Since Kraiger wrote six issues of my childhood Scooby doo run AND Joe Staton was present... well you could probably guess! Had initially hoped for all different Scooby Doo but I have come to learn when a bigger selection is given to Joe through a facilitator he will stick with a Scooby theme and a few are quite unique. I can't blame Joe I especially like #13 with the play on the dinosaur bone. Thanks to Omega for the facilitation.
  8. Thank you, I only commission Joe for Scooby related things so when the non-scooby items show up for sale, they slowly go into the collection when the timing is right.
  9. Old commission pickup Penguin by Joe Staton from NYC Comic Con 2010.
  10. On the NGC registry you can automatically upload the photos to registry sets. Perhaps if CGC updates the registry to a new version this might come about too.
  11. Don't worry, I have secured the bottom slot. Every race has a sweeper to ensure no one is left behind!
  12. Usually happens, one or two Joe Staton paper sketches sell and a slight uptick pops up for sale. Joe Staton Penguin from NYC Comic Con 2010. Usually would put in watch list and in a few months purchase, seller had it as a one week auction. Can never tell if they will re-list when it is a piece not seen before if it gets no bids the first round. I was the only bidder.
  13. Heritage Auctions: 5 Original Scooby Doo Pages pencils by Joe Staton and inks by Dave Hunt
  14. No, when you reholder you get a different label. You would loose that certification #!
  15. Nice addition! Her signature is definitely on my wish list.
  16. New York Mets (1984–1994) New York Yankees (1996–1997) Cleveland Indians (1998–1999) Houston Astros (2000) Tampa Bay Devil Rays (2000) New York Yankees (2000) Not sure about athletics
  17. This spent 19+ years in an old oversized slab before Bob Sharen signed it.
  18. Green label still. If the other guys certify it with their program still not cgc witnessed so cgc will not recognize it.
  19. Green all day long if the picture you are showing were to be submitted as it is. If you were to say go to a convention and have the writer of the book sign it in front of a witness and they submit it on your behalf it will be a green/yellow hybrid label noting the witnessed signature but not the unwitnessed parts.
  20. Now that CGC has a new case for the magazine, the amount of character text has been expanded to the front and back cover. Meaning with really good record keeping and approval you can have last names returned to first and last names on the label. I verified with admin before sending it off for a reholder and showing my old records but here we go! Signed by Pablo Marcos on 10/15/11 Signed by Chris Claremont on 10/16/11 Signed by Ken Bald on 4/29/17 Signed by Klaus Janson on 9/23/17 Signed by Marv Wolfman on 9/24/17 Signed by Neal Adams on 9/25/17 Signed by Roy Thomas on 4/27/18
  21. Gardenstate Comic Fest Summer 2023 Haul: Spiderman Annual #21 Newsstand signed by Bob Sharen Scooby Doo Archie #1 Newsstand signed by Lee Weeks (I told him it was my favorite cover from him and he shared that it was his daughter's idea. They were sitting together on the sofa when the phone rang from Archie. He was given a short list and his at the time 7 or 8 year old daughter was asked what drawing do you want daddy to draw. She chose Scooby!) Scooby Doo #8 added Keone Young to an already Michael Kraiger signature
  22. Gardenstate Comic Fest Summer 2023 arrived! Added Dan Fogler to the Scooby Hogwarts Scooby and Courage the Cowardly Dog by Jeff Brennan (Will get colored by Steve Lydic and signed by voice actor at a later date.) Scooby batting against Doc Gooden by Matthew Parton and signed by Doc Gooden (Doc loved it so much he thought it was a gift for him. Had to explain my Scooby history.) Rocko and Spunky as Batman and Joker mashup by Darren Auck
  23. Personal grail for me on this one as a Mets fan. Dwight Doc Gooden was at Garden State Comicfest this summer, and he was a late announcement. My artist friend knocked this out in two days and since he was at the show it was witnessed. The only problem, Gooden loved it so much he wanted to keep it and thought it was a gift for him. Had to explain to him my Scooby mashup collection but he really enjoyed it! I might have to switch over to these sketch covers. The NG label means no worries about grade drops. On the flip side however, CGC doesn't seem to picture them or go too details under the verification id.
