    You should be able to see your credit balance when logging into your account. Unless I've missed it this feature isn't available. Here are some things I'd like to update from a technology perspective: 1. Credit balances should be shown in your account profile. 2. The online submission form should be able to link to your account profile and calculate your real charges. 3. Credit balances should cover the cost of grading and shipping. I'm not sure why CGC won't allow credit balances to cover shipping. If CGC made a few changes to the way they handle/display credits they might convince more people to upgrade.

    I've sent two PGX books to CGC and left both in the PGX slab. Fortunately, both came back as the same grade with no restoration, etc.

    Anyone familiar with the Microtek series of scanners? I've got a used Microtek i700 that works great, but it has a huge smudge on the interior of the glass. I've tried taking it apart, but there is a step I'm missing and cannot figure out how to separate the front panel from the scanner. Until I can do that, I cannot lift the top panel off and clean the glass. Google has not been helpful. Ideas? Anyone had to do this yet?

The XO Manowar #1 Brushed metal numbers are estimates based on the 60,524 regular copies sold. These are some of the modern books that VALIANT collectors consider rare.

The second is from the VEI run of Unity and is the harder to find Unity 1 1:200 sketch cover variant.     Yep, you sign a forum certifying you were the "artist". Although my wife and I forgot to sign the books. So dumb, but they still turned out great. It's quite a novelty to have books with our names on them. I was very surprised that mine graded a 9.8. I wouldn't have thought it was a 9.8 candidate by any means.

    This is a long shot but is anyone familiar with the Microtek i700 scanner? I've owned a used one for almost a year, but I really need to clean the interior glass. There is a smudge on the interior glass right in the middle of the scanner. On dark color books, it creates a noticeable "swish" right in the center of the slab. I can get the back of the glass panel off, but I cannot figure out how to remove the front section of the glass panel. Google has been no help. I suspect this is a long shot, but it never hurts to ask. Thanks in advance to anyone who can help me figure it out.

    I like a lot of the new features, but I don't like the look of the new fourms. I think it's the lack of division between posts, etc. It's very hard for me to make out where things start and stop. I suppose I'll get used to it, but dang, I want something on the screen to break everything up so it doesn't look like one giant flow of information.
