  1. Tri The Guide Brian, and I bust each other Chops weekly. I have known him for over 15 years and has bought $1000s from me and I have bought many comics from him. Never holds and pays up front. All around great guy even though he thinks his jokes are funnier than anyone else does.
  2. One more. Very busy today. Happy Halloween from HH and the Spirit.
  3. Aside from the comic books, did the $200 cover everything? If so, could you pull cash out of other assets that are non-comic related? Did you find anything else of value aside from the comics? It sounded like a great deal nonetheless. I'm on box 6 now - Treasury's, Blue ribbon digests, Complete Dr Strange run. Some figures that I have no idea about. I'll post a list of the good stuff tomorrow. There are stuff like complete runs of Indiana Jones etc, but there are literally 1500 absolute stinkers that will be going to the local auction house - random 1990's - 2000's garbage, not even in complete runs. But there was a Giant Size X-Men #1 Photos or it didn't happen.
  4. I was just about to post that one. Yours is a lot nicer as always. Here is another for your viewing pleasure.
  5. I'm scared. After he put up his 11 million books at a buck each, the smoke would clear and the 500 books he would sell would be devastating to the market.
  6. One of the more striking covers, for the image and the use of the color Orange. Can't think of too many comics that did. One of my favorite orange covers... Both of these are so nice.
  7. Fantastic acquisition there! Congrats! Love that cover.
  8. He doesn't have squat. Except living off his debt
  9. I bought mine at my LCS in 1986 I think.
  10. Very interesting thread of the life of comic collecting. You are the only person besides myself I have seen, with a Stuffed Cerebus. I mostly collect silver and gold and just a few after 1980s. Cerebus is one. Here is mine. I also have another rare Cerebus Item, I wI'll post when I find it. Great thread.
  11. Not a comic but a kids book from 1941. Been trying to fine a nice one for a while. Thought use guys might like it. Illustrations done by Winsor McCay.
  12. I've always liked that Superman Robot one. Nice boxes.
