  1. Clean and press. What have you got to lose ? This looks like it would grade high, my estimate would be 9.0-9.2 after cleaning and press.
  2. Does anyone know how to open a slabbed book? Is it something you can do at home or does it need to done professionally?
  3. I asked the same question as you about my ASM 238. I sent it in and came back 9.8. Pleat and all.
  4. You can send them in right here at CGC to get graded. The Shadow and Power Man comics look to be the best of the bunch from what I can see. I don't think it would be worth it to send them in for grading.
  5. Besides gentle cleaning of the front and back of a comic, are there other ways to restore the gloss of a dull looking book ?
  6. Sharp comic. I would still get it cleaned and pressed before sending it out. 6.0 IMO.
  7. Nice find. Fun to be surprised at what's in your own collection.
  8. Can anyone tell me how this would affect the grade ? I call it a production crease. I've seen this on many " new" comics from the '80's and earlier. Does CGC consider this a defect ? It has been pressed. Thanks.
  9. Does anyone know how this crease will affected the grade of the book? This appears to be a production crease which I have seen on many books. This one however is a candidate for grading. It's already been pressed. Thanks for your comments.
