Thanks to Alan Bahr (Heroes Comics-Campbell, CA) for this FF 17. He has a really cool small comic shop that I enjoyed visiting this past Saturday. Lot's of SA keys there if you are looking for anything.... (thumbs u
When I was working on my FF run, it took me a long time to find a 17 that I liked. I think I ended up with a pretty nice 6.5.
17 is a difficult one to find in a high grade.

How's your run coming along?
I have every issue. Just trying to upgrade now.

Do you still have all 34 books? If so, some achievement hanging onto to them for this long, you must really love 'em
i've sold about 15 of them to mostly Board members. Still have 20 of the OO group. I still have the first 4..............
I love your 34

Use to until I hit 5000. Then it mattered little.
10K was a milestone and 20K will be to.
But I won't notice until I get around 19,950.

Good Luck. 39 is one of my fave issues and the first FF I ever personally laid eyes on in 1965.
39 has a great cover. One of the best ever. I sold a 8.5 OW-W and got a 9.0 OW with better centering. I also thought the 8.5 was a little overgraded. My 40 is my highest graded of my 12 cent FFs at 9.2 OW-W.

or, they go through the whole Surfer arrives, Doom steals his powers, FF saves the day and Big Daddy G arrives at the end setting up part 3
for what i see with FF 1 , i hope silver surfer will never find his way to earth
-
I was able to pick this up this week end. Finally completed the 'Doom steals the Surfer's Cosmic Power' storyline
I heard that FF 2 will borrow from this storyline as well as 48-50.
Man, that seems like an awful of lot of story to try to cram into one movie
I guess they kill off the big "G" in the first hour.
I didnt say it does both storylines - geesh It "borrows" elements from each. Dr. Doom , Silver Surfer and Galactus are all confirmed to make an appearance. I bet G appears at the end. You guys need to lighten up!
