  1. There is no overpaying for that title. So classic and hard to find. I only wish I could find some to overpay for. All you gotta ask yourself, it how much would it be if it were a comic and there is your answer.
  2. Nice haul. Knowing that seller though, nothing was cheap...
  3. Sadly, they have not been embraced by a lot of people. I can see why. Me, I love them since the first time I saw them. A lot of folks are offended by them. I get it. Also there is a pretty limited collector base for them. The Fogel guide works fine for me. Besides, Overstreet has been beaten up by not being “accurate” in their pricing for years. I can’t imagine they would do much better reporting UG prices.
  4. Could be. I don’t think I ever saw it. I do remember some of them being a little darker color as well. Either way, it’s the pose that makes it!
  5. I’m no expert on fire arms but I seriously remember those little plastic Army men from when I was a kid. I remember that pose and that color like it was yesterday. I suspect that no matter what your age, most other people do as well. Great job!
  6. A couple fun ones from the “sanctuary state”...
  7. Best and most creative cos play ever! He even got the color right!
  8. I’ve got some “fish in the face” covers, but this takes the cake! Only Jimmers would be able to find and post a photo like this!
  9. That’s a problem we all wish to have...Congrats! First thing would do is put that pretty Horiffic 3 and Venus in pretty new mylars and bury them deep in my collection. Then offer up what else I didn’t want right here on the boards... Tease us and show some more with the back story.
  10. You bet I do. Christmas and especially Halloween covers. That is a honey. Congrats!
  11. Nice pile Ryan! Oh, I spy a copy of Fight 35! Easily my favorite Friction House book. Hard to tell how the color is on it. I have upgraded mine a couple of times just for rich color. Still looking for “that” copy.
  12. Nice score Cat, very nice score. Got news for you. Prize Comics are hot. VERY hot. I’ve got a decent pile but have a real hard time getting them anymore. And once you get it that out of that plastic coffin, you will realize how cool they really are. Full of great art and stories.
  13. Any chance the "other guys" will start slabbing pulps? Would be a great money maker and a monopoly. Somebody needs to get smart.
  14. That looked like a good panel. I think if I went, that’s about all I could afford to do...
  15. That Mystery Tales is just off the hook! Pigmees whipping a naked babe? Can you imagine the reaction by a wife or mom if you brought that home? Now my wife.. she would just roll her eyes and go back to Facebook...
  16. Great run Lady! Book for book, I think Joker is the best of the Timely GGA output. Are you going to finish off the run?
  17. I “accumulate” clock covers. That is one of my favorites. Biro was a master. VERY underrated. His stuff always grabs you and makes you want to open the cover. He sold a LOT of comics back in the day.
  18. If it were in a slab, you would miss that lovely pin up of Rita Hayward...
