  2. SOLD! Fantastic Novels #6 March 1948 Better Publications I believe this is the first "Ship of Ishtar by A.Merritt. Nice, headlights cover. A beautiful copy! Tight, square full paper spine. Cover is bright and glossy with nothing missing. Back cover is white. A few minor, small edge tears. Yellowed but very fresh interior paper. I love pulps like this! $25.

  4. Fantastic Adventures Pulp 9/41 Ziff Davis Pubs What a great cover! Hot girl in bondage with a weird melting man cover! Just had to buy this one... This one is a little rough. Square, tight spine but missing a little paper at top and bottom. Lots of edge tears and small creases. Paper is real supple and presents OK $15.

  6. Amazing Stories Pulp Dec 1951 Ziff Davis Pubs What a great cover! Talk about "Mid Century Modern"? Nice, bright cover. Square, full paper spine. A few small light cover creases and some minor pulp overhang tears. Tight copy with real nice interior paper $25.
  7. OK, new discounts are in place. Some of these have been cut 3 times to the bone. One even turned into a freebee! Too tired to do an official re-cap. Just take a couple of minutes to scroll through. You mind find something so cool and so cheap, that you just can't live without. Picked up a few new things today at the Flea and a small local Comic Show. Will post them in a few minutes...

  9. OK, that is finally it for this thread! I am setting up at a local show tomorrow but will not be bringing any of these books so as my friend Catrick says: "Feel free to pick the Carcass". I might post a few more tomorrow or Monday if I pick up anything noteworthy. I will probably close this down on Monday and send invoices out Monday or Tuesday. Thanks for checking this thread out and back to your regularly scheduled programming...
  10. Northwest Mounties Approved #12 Aug 1954 St. John Pubs Beautiful Matt Baker cover! Some cool crime stories inside including a Chessler Blue Monk story. Has some light water rippling and very light stains. Lower right corner has a small corner crease as well as a smaller one on back cover. Top of spine has a very neat 1-1/2" split. Both staples neatly popped but cover seems to be still attached. No pieces missing, tears or other creases. Nice color and presents very well. Was $125. Now $100.!
  11. SOLD! Joe Palooka #23 Aug 1948 Harvey Pubs OK, I know what you are thinking...Joe Palooka suks and he usually does. However there are a few good ones. There are a couple of later issues with off the wall torture covers and this one. Joe Palooka picks Miss Atomic Blonde of 1948. "Big Bathing Beauty Issue". Great GGA cover and story! Worth grabbing if you like this sort of thing. A real nice, clean, tight complete copy. Flat with tight, smooth spine. Nice color and slightly yellowed but supple interior pages. Has a light corner crease that only shows from inside the front cover. Tiny piece off top right corner and a little yellowed on the side. There is a lessor copy currently on the boards with the centerfold missing for $15. Grab a tight, complete copy for Was $30. Now $25.!
  12. A Date with Judy #55 Oct-Nov 1956 DC Pubs Cool bathing suit cover. Fun DC teenage stuff through out A nice, tight complete copy. Has a small name on cover. A couple of lower right corner creases.Bottom staple is a little rusty. Very light spine abrasion. Well bound copy with Off white/White pages. $10.

Lot of 3 Disney Classic reprints. 2 Golden Specials 1974 One has Donald Duck "Frozen Gold" and "Mystery of the Swamp" Second one is Mickey Mouse "The Bat Bandit of Inferno Gulch" by Floyd Gottfredson Both are full color on nice paper with stiff covers. A little very minor wear You also get... Donald Duck in "Terror of the River" by Barks. Oversize reprint by Gladstone 1987 Glossy and beautiful shape Read some classic Disney stuff by the masters for Was $15. Now $10.!
  14. Anybody but me like 1940's Kelloggs Pep pins? Great set of 86 characters from 1945-1947. Always marked with Pep cereal in the back. But wait... These two are different. One is blank and one has "Made in USA" in the backs. Character is Uncle Walt from Gasoline Alley. I bought a small group of these from a Kelloggs employee many years ago. He said they were prototypes but I can't verify for certain. Showed them to Ted Hake and he had never seen them. If you collect these, you need these rare variations for your set! You get two pins. One of each back variation (same character) for $20.
  15. Planet #64 Spring 1950 Friction House Pubs Great Robot cover that just doesn't seem to get the love as much of the surrounding issues. Has a small tear at top of spine and right top corner off on front cover. Back cover has a couple small pieces out and a small piece of old tape on spine at bottom. Small grease pencil mark in "L" in title. A few tiny tears in top of last few interior pages. Everything well attached to cover. Supple light cream pages. $100.

Collects the run of Wood illustrated Spirit strips he did in 1952. Such awsome stuff. Like EC comics. 11 stories written by Eisner and illustrated by Wood. Masters! The King of the World 1978 Sea Gate Pubs. Lavish full color Wood fantasy series. Great GGA including nudes! Both are slick editions with stiff covers and nice interior paper. Excellent condition and both long out of print. As close to EC's as you can get... $40.
  19. Whew, that was wild! Like a hurricane. Can you imagine a 3 year old and a 5 year old hitting MY junk room? Toys and comics every where. Don't worry, I put everybody's stuff away. They sure love those old Buddy L Trucks though... Let's see if I can finish up now...
