  1. Lots of great names on the list, but where is John Byrne? His work on Marvel Team-Up in the 70s was really special.
  2. Mylar does not 'cause humidity'. Unless it's perfectly sealed, the humidity level of your comic book will go up and down depending on it's surrounding environment. You can get mould/foxing on comics just having them on open shelves in damp basements. Also. Abrasion is defined as "the process of scraping or wearing away". I just don't see how that is possible with the ultra smooth Mylar surface - however definitely can happen if in contact with other paper.
  3. Seriously? Crappy things happen to people all the time, but they still honor their commitments. My car broke down a while ago and it cost me over $2000 to repair. I still paid all my other bills. What's happening here is that you are living paycheck to paycheck, and you simply cannot afford to be buying expensive comics! It is YOU who are living your life like you're still in high school, and you deserve to be banned and blocked because your irresponsible behaviour is making life difficult for everyone else.
  4. On cheap books I never bother with tracking. Too frustrating for a buyer to pay $15 shipping for a $4 book. I've sold hundreds of books and no issues yet. I don't ship to 'problem' countries however.
  5. ComicLink shipping: 1-3 $70 4-6 $75 7-12 $90 I was quoted that about 1y ago. They use FedEx default, but they may use USPS at your request but at same cost. I would recommend USPS.
  6. I was a big NOVA fan way back. Made these when I was 11-12. They are from issues #13 and #14. I sure miss those simple carefree days!
  7. Totally agree, and typically I also ignore books using the GSP. However if you're buying a single book of low value (~$20), I believe there are no import duties so it wouldn't be that big a deal? HOWEVER, I believe with this program combined shipping is not permitted. So once again, there is no advantage. What a scam...
  8. Not defending this guy he seems to be a total jerk, but IMO these are actually two different comics. I can point out some examples, but you can see how on the first comic the top border of the comic code emblem is trimmed off.
  9. I've ordered from MHC 3 or 4 times in order to quickly fill large holes in the moderns part of my collection. My experiences have been very positive. One-stop shopping, with books that were well graded (for the most part), well packaged and low shipping costs. That being said, it's true that their regular prices on many issues can be high (one mile high!). However the key is to buy from them only during 'codeword' sales. They typically range between 40-60% off. All the comics I purchased from them last week at 60% off were cheaper than any others I could find on eBay.
  10. Yep. It was fun. Thanks for sharing!
  11. So a customer does you the great service of purchasing a very expensive comic and then you bad mouth him and publish his 'name' in a thread about buyers from eBay that are so bad they should be blocked?
  12. It wasn't a random spelling mistake either cause I did it again here! Haven't looked at these in years and never even noticed. Looks like I was drawing pictures in class instead of paying attention to my spelling lessons This is from the cover of Avengers #168
  13. Very nice indeed. Best part is you still got lot's of room for more displays!
  14. Thanks for the comments. These were some of my first drawings. From Avengers Annual #7 and Marvel Two-in-One Annual #2. After 38y, I've finally added these comics back to my collection - won/purchased them from ComicLink. My life will be complete again
  15. Drew this one when I was 11y old. I'm sure most of you can guess the original source of inspiration I was quite the prolific artist between the ages of 11 to 14! I'll post a few more over the course of the next few weeks...
