    Episode 3 was a great one. Right next to the last episode of Season 1, they're my favorites. Any one want to guess who the villain is?

    I had the same problem but I watched it at a regular screening. Went to talk to the staff twice about it and nothing was improved. It was very noticeable in the first Spider Gwen act before the credits. Everything was muddled and barely noticeable. Can't help but think they would do even better numbers if this wasn't a thing.

    I watched episode 1 and barely got through it. not sure what the hype is about. nothing was really funny. is it cause I know nothing about soccer?

    I would argue Clone Wars is pretty great. Without the foundation it laid, I doubt Mandalorian would have that impact.

    I have a 4.5 that is nowhere near this nice. I'm thinking 5.5 or better, even with the chipping.

    Agreed. I loved both movies. Sometimes I think we should step back as comic fans and instead of nitpicking things to death, just be glad we get to see these properties on film. A perfectly cast Rock as Black Adam, MODOK and Kang. What more do you want.

    You have a good point. If I was to bring a casual movie viewer to this movie, they would have no clue what the end credits mean. Why does Jonathan Majors wear multiple outfits? Why is there a whole arena of them? They have to be careful not to assume the casual public is that well invested in the MCU or you lose them entirely.

    I might in the minority here. I loved it and I think MODOK was handled well. I was hoping the post credits might have a legitimate surprise but I can see how it was important to build Phase 5 in the future. I might actually go see it again maybe in 3D.

    I'm not sure how else you could handle MODOK. He's basically a comedic character especially after the Hulu series (which I loved too).

    Agreed. Eternals is unwatchable. I actually fell asleep during the movie, several times actually. I've never passed out in any comic movie; then again, these are characters I don't anything about and have zero connection to.

    the thing that frightens me is, correct me if I'm wrong, but the last time comics was hot was in the early 90s. I believe the comic market started to heat up again in 2013 or so. I can't want 30 years for this to come around.

    you have a great point. that fact that ann weying had a spec bump is proof you can hype anything. my pocketbook says yes to multiverse, but the fanboy in me wishes they would just a do a halfway decent movie. i would be down for Knull, if done right. not from this chick tho....

    I loved this series. I wasn't anticipating it and forgot it even came out. But what a nice surprise! I like the back stories on Dooku and I'm hoping they save the reveal of Sifo-Dyas for a future season, along with origin stories of Grievous and Jango.

    You hit it on the head. People are getting them signed and graded, hoping to get 9.8s. It's not worth my time to do so. I sent in 10 in the past year and got 9 out of 10 at 9.8. But I couldn't even sell them at $200; it started to move at $180. Not worth the time and hassle to squeeze an extra $30 of them. There are tons of these out there, I started off with a whole short box before the pandemic and they have been steady sellers.

    I was hoping for a little nod towards their connection, since I am familiar John's JSA run. It was nice to see them put in a little something there at the end, especially since John's is an executive producer on the film.

    start it. i'll be more active on that than the She Hulk defense thread. I haven't watched wrestling for like 15 years but I catch snippets online here and there. If anything, I'm more into collecting the figures they come out with.

    this is why i don't read any reviews prior to release and I see it on the first day available. I'm a huge Black Adam and Rock mark, so I went in there with no preset opinions. Glad I wasn't disappointed.

    eternals is the only comic book based movie i fell asleep in. while eating. in the theater. that's pretty bad.

    there is no way anyone can compare Black Adam to Eternals or Green Lantern. Not even close.
