Wow I did not even know that the director of Shang-Chi is directing the next Avengers. I always thought that Disney wants someone who knows what they are doing to direct the Avengers movies.. Hopefully results of the Marvels was strong enough message to Disney that they need do 180 on how they are handling the films/properties.

I have thought there is more hierarchy in Asian work culture than in West. Anyways of course everyone can eat in the same place but I think employees want some free time from their managers or directors. Also about the communication, employees talk to their managers, managers talk to directors and directors talk to CEO. The problem with many CEO are that they are hired because they have been CEO/director of some other company and are maybe not the right person for the job. Like John Sculley who probably was a good director in Pepsi but then in Apple was not the right person for the job because IT industry is completely different than food and beverage industry where suddenly your product don't come obsolete overnight.

I am happy that this movie tanks in box office. I started recently watch The Boys from Amazon because I had Amazon Prime. Did not know anything about it but I find it much more enjoyable than most of Marvel shows. Why? Because something happens in every episode. Like in Loki there was episodes were nothing happened but we got a feeling that there is some big evil out there. Then in final episode you see a version of Kang (He who remains). That's it. Like for a better story Kang should have appeared in third episode and Loki would battle him but no because Marvel is jeopardizing the story in sake of holding its characters for always something. Well in this case Kang for big screens Ant-man 3.. and we all know what happened. I bet that 2-3 years ago Marvel was thinking that this decade would the decade for these B-list "Avengers" and Kang. Then 2030 would be FF and 2040 would be X-men..

It is not a good deal unless you really want a Silver Surfer 1987 run. It is also missing the later issues. For that price there should be at least one key book that would normally sell for like 100$ unslabbed.

X-men 164 seems to be heating up.

Iron Man became A-listener because of those first two movies. Iron Man appearing on Ultimates or in Civil War did not do anything for his popularity and if Marvel would have had Spider-man or X-men then one those would have been the first MCU film.

Mostly that is just something I made up. So who knows.

So after this terrible film all the characters live in a parallel universe where Captain Marvel and Kang the conqueror looks different and there is X-men and FF. I am looking for MCU fans to write that I already saw the end credits once and I am going next week to see the end credits second time...

Where did I say that? I was interested of seeing the video where the creator of the character was saying he is buying all the copies online and I stumbled to watching that speculator video also. I was not looking for some information I could care less how Blue Marvel is selling.

I don't understand how did you come to that conclusion but what I was saying that the first youtube video that I saw was some card guy who seemed kinda unfamiliar with comics but was pushing this book two years ago. Like UXM 130 I have always kinda thought that it was undervalued (I hate that word) like NM copy should be like 100$. It is a 1st appearance of a well know X-men character, lot of 2nd appearances, part of Dark Phoenix Saga etc. well now the book is rising a little because maybe Taylor Swift will make short cameo as Dazzler in Deadpool 3. The speculators are maybe thinking that there will be a CGC signing and after that they will have a great collectible that Taylor Swift fans will pay huge amounts.. Adam Blue Marvel is unknown character, will not appear on future movies/disney+ , no NBA, NFL star is going trick or treating in Adam Blue Marvel costume.. so if Adam Marvel was a great character in some short storyline years ago it does not make his first appearance valuable.

Well that is my opinion about the book. I also see it as a complete hype thing. Like when I searched for the creator youtube video there was also a video about some speculator who started his video saying wow what a great spec this is.. just learned about this character year ago.. yeah this will be worth so much more in the future etc.

Sad You can buy a issue 1 cgc 9.8 from ebay 750-800$. I would say the real price for the book should be like 200-300$ 9.8 and a high grade raw maybe 40$. Modern book with character that makes pre Disney+ Moon Knight look like a household name.

My theory of this is: Image/McFarlane and NetherRealm Studios/Warner Bros made a decision to put Spawn in a Mortal Kombat videogame. NetherReal Studios hosted a gaming event and had a comic book variant made by Image as a gift for the attendees. NetherReal Studios thought that would be a nice thing for the attendees. Event is almost cancelled so there is plenty of copies left. If they were expecting 1000 attendees so maybe 1000-2000 copies? Some copies maybe went to trash along with empty soda cans and some other swag. Then probably NetherReal Studios marketing team took bunch of those comics and other swag to their storage so if they would have a another event/stand where they do marketing for Mortal Kombat 11 they can give those away. Fast forward couple years and NetherReal Studios marketing team wants to clean some stuff from their storage and they find those comics. So they are going to release Mortal Kombat 1 (why not 12?!?) so they don't have any use for those so they bring couple boxes in NetherReal Studios office along with some other swag so personnel can take some if they want. After day or two office cleaners throw that swag in the trash. So some NetherReal Studios personnel or people cleaning the office sold bunch of those comics to some comic book stores who then tried to sold those comics few at a time until one seller flood the market with bunch of those because he was scared that some other seller will do the same and he will loose money.

I don't see this as a publishers wrong doing. They made a limited comic book for a gaming event and they thought that they destroyed the copies that were not given out/or did not care. The problem with this was these youtubers and Keycollector who hyped the book and gave the wrong information. Also the collectors who bought this can blame themselves because even if there would have been 50 copies why pay thousands for this?!? Like did they think that damn if I don't buy this now it will be 2X in five years?!?

Well nintendo comics systems preview is valiant and in your opening post you wrote "video game keys are INSANELY underpriced/valued" so if you want something to invest then invest on Nintendo. Super mario, Zelda and Pokemon are like Spider-man, Batman and Superman and all of those other games are like Animal Man and Wonder Man. But yeah cool collection you have going on. I also have many video game based comics.

Valiant Super Mario and Zelda are must if you want to collect video game comics. So get those in 9.8. After that go after other comics.
