  2. Adventure Comics #65 est grade 0.3 asking $125 (includes repo front cover)
  3. Per norms, first or pm gets it. 14 day return for any reason - you pay return shipping in condition as originally shipped. Note, I'd rather sell to a boardie than on feeBay so if I'm out of line, p.m. me an offer. Prefer and appreciate check, but PayPal is an acceptable option. Shipping $5 unless slab, which is $15. This is the total for all comics purchased (1 or 10, same shipping price). My Canadian friends to the north please add an additional $25. 4. This story is still sticking with me, 1. Amazing that this was unearthed and still out there 2. Would have been interesting (and more profitable for the owner) who didn't know the true value to have used a bid process rather than buy it now. 3. I would have been cheesed if I had taken a flyer on it, and snagged it for $2k on the buy it now to then have gotten undercut by the seller subsequently backing out. 3a. I'm assuming seller was tipped off (however you choose to look at that) comic collectors can be sharks when there is blood in the water, no doubt about it. 4. I never would have believed it was real and would not have likely bid on it or done a buy it now to begin with - especially given some fakes that I've seen posted here (recall the Cap America #1) and the seller's history.
  5. In case any of you were not into southern rock
  6. #1 = Famous Funnies #214 (constantly kicking myself for selling mine) I am also partial to this one
  7. Sparkler #29 "Okajima" - that's a new one on the thread! Appreciate the share Blackmask. Anything Okajima is real treasure. I'll be following the auction closely.
  8. I've regretted selling any Cole cover, and since starting to look for "the one" to have realized the top tier ones have gone up and out of my price range. However I did manage to acquire this bright green beauty to satisfy my Cole thirst.
  9. Yep saw that! GLWS, will be interesting watching the price. Your book probably best encapsulates the entire pedigree. I was specifically referring to four low grade books. Just never seen Okajima with water damage like that, perhaps that occurred under a second or third owners watch and he or she had original certificates? Shame. Even a couple of the titles were odd for the pedigree imo. The True looks to have even some chew. No dates stamped or written on back etc., Just interesting additions to the pedigree, that's all.
  10. What's the story with the (sorry rather gnarly) four Okajimas books over on HA? https://comics.ha.com/itm/golden-age-1938-1955-/science-fiction/strange-adventures-21-okajima-pedigree-dc-1952-cgc-fr-gd-15-cream-to-off-white-pages/a/7341-94148.s?type=wantlistid-985420!creatorid-cewl!linkclicked-lotlink!emailid-09082023-024342.050PM-2840774-985420!itemid-7341_238001!wlem# Water damage, no sig, no stamps? Really odd, wonder if they had certificates.
  11. Nice Mr. Bedrock, I'd like to have a Bobby Benson's B-Bar-B Riders #1 in around that condition...
  12. Both Saucy and Spicy! Those pulps really put the headlights on the high beam.
