  1. Exactly, this is what I am looking for. So we have “Classic ‘fish in face’ covers,” “injury to eye covers,” “Lingerie covers” to “Classic Flag covers.” What is the whole list? Is there a list?
  2. Or alternatively, what are the terms used by GCG, like Classic "fish in face" Cover. Is there a list?
  3. Related question, what are the cover types listed as "-c" in overstreet price guide?
  4. I like to delve a bit into the history of the books I collect, and pedigree gives another avenue to do that. I've even been working on a Police Comics pedigree run for some time now. I just find it another interesting dimension - the original collections from collectors that saved the books that make GA collecting possible today. How much higher of a premium or a different book a grade tick higher? Well, that depends on the book, needs, wants, timing, resources, pedigree etc., Many factors at play there.
  5. OT: That's cool, haven't submitted for awhile, but if they provide image along with slabbing that is a win imo.
  6. Shazam! was fun, irreverent, different - and I thought a joy. Shazam! Fury of the Gods (2) took all that, and tossed it directly into the trash to create a disappointing flavorless cookie cutter hit job to an already troubled DC movie franchise. Very concerning to me for future of these superhero movies getting made. But.. maybe less is better.
  7. I agree 100%. I think the current superhero motion picture cycle has jumped the shark. I really liked The Flash, I felt it was one of D.C.'s best efforts. If Flash traveled back in time to 2018 and had W.B. release The Flash instead of Aquaman, the Flash's box office would have been equal to or better than Aquaman's imo.
  8. Sweet rewards for a lot of time and effort Ender, really, really good work. I'm not a one of the big dogs, in comics, on this board, or even in my own house so take this with a grain of salt. I've done a full resto, a conservation, and indeed a number of marriages. IMO, while temptation may be large, I'd leave it untouched, exactly as is, and if you do ever sell it, simply note what you noted here. Again, very well done.
  9. Nice good work Miami! The certainly look like they belong together.
  10. Pleasure to work with, real straight shooter - glad to have Will in the hobby and on the boards.
  11. Exactly, or a tear or bullet hole etc., If have a 1" piece missing from the cover can I say, well there used to be color touch there? This example, on this book, is really demented.
  12. Thanks. I've tried to write something about the comics I own or have passed through my hands.
  13. Trades for Blackhawk #30 and/or Bobby Benson's B Bar B Riders #1 welcome!
