  1. Ok, I found the write up about the Ohio meet up on CAF. Somehow I missed the announcement. Sounds like it could happen again next August, so I hope to attend that.
  2. Hmmm, I wasn't aware of this. I assume it was a one-off show, or would there be more? I'll look for some info about it online. Thanks!
  3. I'd love to attend one of these, but I can't quite justify a trip from Illinois to New Jersey for a short Sunday show. Maybe some day I can swing it. If they ever had a show somewhere in the Midwest, I'd be all in.
  4. They make great patches for rips in your pool table felt as well! But, I see you've already discovered that.
  5. These are beautiful, and I've love to own one, but they will likely be out of my price range.
  6. Just reading through this thread for the first time. This series sounds like something I'd really enjoy, as I love TOS and Iike what I'm reading here. I don't have Paramount+ yet, but now I'm tempted. Thanks everyone for sharing your thoughts.
  7. The write up on the project mentions a figure fits in the turret. Project has already been funded with 8,200 backers so far. We should be seeing some unlockables soon.
  8. I'm probably backing it, as the HISS is probably my 2nd favorite vehicle behind the Rattler. Not happy about the price, but with the hopeful early backer bonus, and 4 more possible unlockables, the value could get there. Looks great with the light up features, the opening door in back, and the treads. I'm sure it will look great in hand.
  9. Missed out on the Stinger Jeep. Sold out when I went to check it out last night. I don't buy too many toys anymore, but a vintage style box and o-ring driver had me interested.
  10. I enjoyed most of the series, and Ewan's performance was excellent. Great to see the dialog between Ben and Vader. One thing I wasn't sure of: Did Reva figure out that Owen was hiding Vader's kid, or just that he was hiding someone important to Obi-Wan? I couldn't quite tell from the dialog.
  11. You are right there hasn't been much available lately. I seem to remember maybe 10-12 years ago an ebay seller with possible ties to the family(?) was selling dailies each week for a long time. Bedrock City had a bunch available a few years ago. I also remember maybe 3 years ago Heritage had a daily available about every week for several months. So they are out there and I bet we'll see more eventually. Sundays are another story, and are much less common to see for sale.
  12. This looks pretty cool, and I've liked a few of the prior retro figs like Mando. I just wish they would do away with the fake wear & tear on the cardback. Looks cheap, and the card itself is a bit flimsy. Happy they are making these figures though, and I'd like to see some retro playsets as well.
  13. The first Lego & Transformers collaboration coming soon. It's transformable too.
  14. One high and one low price observation for Sunday auction. Two Ottley Invincible pages from issue #12 sold well with the highest one around $15,600. Much higher than any other page or cover from the series that I'm aware of. The piece I wish I bid on, but was focusing on other things is the Ditko Tales of Suspense #37 monster page. I think it went for around $6,300, quite a bit less than expected.
  15. Absolutely stunning price. Never would have imagined it would go that high. Another stunner IMO is the Hannigan Defenders 47 cover for $60,000. Actually I could post all day with pieces that went for much more than expected.
  16. $44,800 for a "Spider-man renew your vows" cover by J. Scott Campbell. One of many surprising prices to me.
  17. Haven't posted a link before from my phone, so I'll look into that. For now, try searching under "SF con" on CAF and pics should come up.
  18. Marcus Wai posted some nice photos of the S.F. show on CAF.
  19. Most of the classified stuff looks really good, especially that Crimson Guard. I'll echo what a few others have mentioned ... the Megatron Hiss looks good in tank mode, but they needed to add some black into the Megatron grey in robot mode to make it more seemless. Now it looks like Megatron wearing a Hiss tank as a coat.
  20. Loved those D&D Endless Quest books as a kid. Fantastic artwork you acquired!
  21. The figures are pretty well done, though the cards are so-so. A bit flimsy, and i miss the white border around the vintage card.
  22. The latest Haslab project, the Skystriker, also has quite a few exclusive o-ring figures included with it.
  23. Anything I was mildly interested in, which I thought may be within my budget, went much higher than expected. Or maybe it is expected at this point. A Masters of the Universe cover from 1987 by Ron Wilson goes for $10,200? Dos Bros had it on eBay probably 2-3 years ago for $3,000 with no takers.
  24. Simply an incredible piece to come to auction. Hope a passionate collector like delekkerste or Timely is able to get it.
  25. I see the Skystriker Haslab project just added 3 carded O-ring Cobra figures to their offering. I was on the fence on this, but I think I'm ordering one now.
