Congratulations, 2023 CGC Registry Award Winners!

Funny you should mention that. That's the same as the CGC opening package process -
I know Brian doesn't control the census but it didn't get updated overnight. Wonder if this is somehow intertwined with what's going on here ...

Sure would like to know what the heck is going on here. Two FTM's. 4279827 Shipped on 7/17 and is scheduled for delivery today. 4279824 still in the G/E/I void since 7/17. Maybe I should take other board member's advice and stop using FT because Modern alone seems to process faster.

Where in the world was the Quality Control at CGC???
workingdog replied to Wally's Comics's topic in Comics General
I can certainly empathize. I remember receiving an e-mail that my CGC package had been delivered. Thing is, if the Fed Ex person was here, my dogs would have started barking and I would have a package by the front door. Neither of those things happened. So I called the local delivery unit and asked what gives? About an hour later I had my package. The Fed Ex driver originally delivered it to an Auto Body shop just down the street. Thankfully it was still unopened. -

I did. Thank you, Mike! -
Calling Customer Service - "An Application Error Has Occurred."
workingdog replied to workingdog's topic in Comics General
Yes, it's the new number I'm having the problem with. Or did. I finally got through to someone. And the CSA admitted they were having intermittent phone problems this morning. -
@CGC Mike Hi Mike,.. Is there something wrong with the phone system? I've been attempting to call customer service this morning. After I push the button to speak to a CSA, I'm put on hold and get the CGC anthem until an agent is available. But after about 10 seconds, it stops. Then there's silence for about another 5 seconds and then you hear a message that says, "An application error has occurred. Goodbye" and then I'm disconnected. What is going on? Thank you!

Whatever the status, things are moving at a glacial pace (at least from my perspective). That's why I'm trying to make every effort to get what I can sent in prior to SDCC 2023. Intakes at cons pretty much mess up the time it takes to process submissions. But SDCC 2023, you probably won't see your submissions until leaves starting falling from the trees.

I can empathize. I've had 1 book ME SFG since 5/12 with no movement. Just a simple label correction. I sent a note to submissions@cgccomics.com last week and as of this writing, no response.

All threads for adding slots to sets and creating new sets are currently closed while the 2023 CGC Registry Awards are being conducted. You can read all about it and when they'll reopen from the Registry Administrator here:

Well said, well spoken

Oh, so someone is working there. Nothing is moving on my end and I just figured CGC employees extended their vacations beyond the 4th and there's only a skeleton crew still working the remainder of the week.
-
I think that ship has already sailed. I've had submissions delivered to CGC within the last two weeks and none of them have been opened by Receiving. Receiving must have off on 'business day' Fridays.
-
I hadn't seen anything published yet and was just wondering. Thanks!

I agree with you on several points. First, Mike is absolutely awesome in the way he's helped me as well as other members. Second, Calling Customer Service. For me, it's hit or miss. At times I'll get someone who is at the top of their game and actually goes above and beyond to help me (like Mike). Other times, it's like why did I even bother calling? -script reading, misinformation. To illustrate, I called and had a question about Imaging. I was given an answer that didn't sound quite right. So I took it a step further and contacted the nice woman who sends me my CGC images. When I told her what the customer service agent said, it was news to her. Bottom line, I was misinformed by the CSA.

I have a slew of FTM's sitting in my Submission Tracking all at SFG. When I spoke to a customer service person yesterday, I was told that because I added Imaging to my submissions, that's another 10 days added to the TAT. I was like, "WHAT?" It's always been my experience that Imaging is encompassed during the FTM 10 Day TAT. Then after the submission ships, several days later I receive my pics from Imaging via e-mail. I swear Customer Service makes news rules up as they go.
