  1. Dear Ask CGC, I sent in the above 4 book MFT submission and it hit Submission Tracking, 2/28. Line items 3 & 4 in submission tracking do not match up with what I recorded on the packing slip. As you will see in the attached packing slip, line items 3 & 4 should have a date of 4/23 and both copies are second printings. On Submission Tracking, line items 3 & 4 are dated 3/23 and no mention of a Second Printing in the book title. I brought this to the attention of Matt via DM on 2/28. He was to notify the grading team and assured me line items 3 & 4 would be corrected once it reached the grading stage. At the time, submission status was SFG. However, as of today, the status has changed to G/E/I and line items 3 & 4 are still not correct. I've attached screen shots of the packing slip, submission tracking and a clip of what it even says on the lower right corner on the cover of the book. Please advise - thank you!
  2. Why does it always have to be a fight even from the very beginning? *sigh*
  3. @MattM CS @CrystalM CS @KaileeS CS I'm in the same boat. Submission Tracking is down.
  4. JLA/JSA: Virtue and Vice by David Goyer, Geoff Johns and Carlos Pacheco. Greatest read? Maybe, maybe not. But definitely a good read

  7. I try and avoid sellers who use Media Mail like the plague. If a seller offers an Expedited Shipping/Priority Mail option, I will always use it. Several years ago, I purchased a slab and it was sent to me via Media Mail (no signature confirmation). On the day the package was to arrive, the postal carrier gave me an orange slip and said I had to go to the post office and pick it up. I asked him why and he told me that was all he was allowed to say. So I trucked on down to the post office and the manager comes out. He explains to me that because the package was sent Media Mail, it was open to inspection. And it was. What did they find? The seller used Express Mail materials as packing for my purchase. And if I wanted my package, I would have to pay an extra $46 dollars in postage because of the Express Mail rubbish. Boy, did I rip that seller a new one. Fortunately, the seller was cool about it and refunded me for the extra postage I had to pay.
  8. Hi Mike, Is there going to be a meeting on Reholder TAT's? I offer this submission to illustrate (today is 2/2/23): Thank you!
  9. This is by far one of my favorite John Severin covers
  10. I sent in two Modern Fast Track submissions (4 books each) for pressing and grading. They were received on 1/13/23. Today is business day 9 for the CCS part. I'm VERY happy to report both submissions were just transferred to grading
  11. FFF, you're going to love this. I had a ME FedEx shipment that was scheduled to arrive today. Going about my day when all of a sudden I get an e-mail that my FedEx shipment was delivered and signed for. I quickly looked outside and no package. I went back to the e-mail and saw where the driver delivered it to ... the Auto Body shop down the street. I immediately called FedEx and they got in touch with the driver. Ten minutes later, a FedEx driver pulls up, gets out and asks about my missing package. I told him where he delivered it to (he himself didn't know). He left and several minutes later delivered my package. Fortunately, no one opened it and no harm to contents inside.
  12. Perhaps you should read the rules in the first posting of the 2023 THIS SET DOESN'T EXIST, PLEASE BUILD REQUESTS in the CGC Registry forum. It's also where your requests should have been posted to. Set creation posts outside of this thread typically go into limbo.
  13. Not I. But there must have been a few bad apples. Which of course spoils it for all *sigh*
  14. This worked for me when I ran into the same situation. I was able to get the phone number of the local FedEx hub and called them. Like you, I asked what my options were. I spoke to a manager and he said my only other option was to ask them to hold it at their facility and I could come pick it up myself. Which I did seeing as how my local hub is only a few miles from me. Yes, another hoop to jump through but it got the job done. Good luck.
  15. I'm glad to hear CGC corrected your title. I have run into this MANY times in the past. When I have a book I want to have graded and I do not see it in the Online Submission drop down list, I enter the book manually. And it's in pure black and white on the packing slip. I don't know if it's Receiving or some other group that enters the information into Submission Tracking but it's been my experience that the books you enter in manually? It's like no one even bothered to look at the packing slip. So what's the point? Whoever enters the books doesn't seem very detail oriented or they don't know what they're looking at and they just put down something other than what's on the packing slip. And when you contact customer service, they tell you the graders will catch it and correct it. HA! Not in some submissions I've sent in. The graders miss it too and I end up with a ME. To cap off my little rant, I once called CGC Customer Service to report a problem and the agent I spoke with asked for my patience because she didn't know anything about comics. Oy vey.
  16. Now THIS, this is the actions of someone who goes above and beyond for which I am very grateful. Thank you, Matt, for all that you did (and do). All the best to you, sir!!
  17. For anyone who might be submitting the Batman 131 Quesada variant covers (both pictured below), the Color version will show up in Submission Tracking as Batman 131 3/23 D.C. Comics Variant Cover. At the same time, the Quesada Sketch/B&W version will also show up as Batman 131 3/23 D.C. Comics Variant Cover. No distinction between the two. I've called CS, even posted a question in Ask CGC the latter of which was basically a blow off reply. I see a ME coming my way.
  18. "If?" There is no "if." I just gave you examples of both covers. In fact, the Quesada Sketch Edition isn't even listed in the drop down for Batman 131 (again, please see attached pic). @MattM CS - Can you please speak to this? Thank you.
  19. Hi, I've attached below the two Quesada variant covers for Batman 131. One in Color and the other a Sketch. I submitted these books under two different submissions. In Submission Tracking, submission 4188169, the colored version was relabeled "Batman 131 3/23 D.C. Comics Variant Cover." Ok, no problem. However the Sketch version in Submission 4188185, line item 4, was also labeled "Batman 131 3/23 D.C. Comics Variant Cover." Shouldn't it be labeled Batman 131 Quesada Sketch Edition or something to that effect? Please fix this so I do not end up with an ME. Thank you.
