My year of reading Cerebus 1 - 300 is complete.
Story recap in spoiler tags:SpoilerCerebus 271 - 300: Latter Days continues with humourous adventures of Cerebus as a captive of religious zealots who view him as a religious icon thanks to the Book of Rick (Jaka's former husband turned writer). He goes on to lead a holy war to wipe out the Cirinist (who had been his protagonists for the last half of the title). There is some beautiful art (love hatching). There was a Spawn parody with a character based on Todd McFarlane called Todd FarLane McSpahn and Cerebus masquarades as a demon from hell called Spore. Cerebus reshapes society with a bunch of religious reforms (one being killing all the lawyers). Then, there is storyline about Cerebus interpreting the bible to a character based on Woody Allen. Frankly, I ended up skimming some of this as it was just wall upon wall of text about theology.Until finally we get to very old Cerebus who has remarried to a woman who bears a striking resemblance to his one true love (Jaka) and having a son whom he is waiting for a visit from. Some great art of a dream sequence where Cerebus knows his days are numbered and he's getting a premonition of what the afterlife will hold for him.So my year of reading Cerebus concludes and I look ahead to what my comic reading project for next year will be...

Hard to believe it's been nine years.
I'll always remember him from his Red Dawn avatar.

Clearly, you needed to find a Cerebus collector named Linda
Clearly. Might be a small target audience.

My wife & I enjoyed Andor. A great series on what life was like during the empire (story, acting, sets).
Now, we need to go back and watch Rogue One. I don't think we've seen it since it came out in theaters in 2016.
SpoilerOne of my favorite scenes of the empire getting owned.

Just watched it and really enjoyed it.
Loved that it was in B&W with cigarette burn marks.

Overall, I thought it was humorous enough to watch. And I liked the 70s Incredible Hulk TV show homage.
Now, onto Werewolf By Night...

"Are prices still climbing or have they eased up a bit???"
Comics I'm selling? Prices (demand) have cooled (some by quite a bit)
Comics I'm trying to buy? Prices (demand) are as strong as ever.
Same as it ever was...
Case in point. Batman 73. Last GPA data point CGC 4.0 in August was $1412.
Raw VG on Heritage I was bidding on today ended at $2132.
