As far as DC pence copies, I believe these are my only two. I would say they are more difficult to find, but I also don't look for them often. New Teen Titans #2 always seems to be the one I see pop up.

I read the series within the last year. The early part of the run was interesting in terms of ideas but mediocre in execution. I will admit to enjoying the 2nd half of the series quite a bit. Yes, the Bill S. covers are nice. I own several copies of #33 and for some reason have tons of #42. I think i added a few more since this pic.

CGC is still a little inconsistent. My Iron Man #100 has a grade date of 17 MAR 2021 and was still labelled as 'U.K. Edition'. I was pulled in by the power of the pence a few years ago. I love finding them. In a nutshell, I have a list of books I'm looking for and mark which (if any) has a corresponding pence copy. I always look for the pence copy just for kicks. If I find a nice one, then I buy it. I've yet to get a 9.8 on any I have submitted, but I have had a 9.6 and a few more in the 9's.

Ennis' Punisher run in 2000 got me back into comics. The whole "Welcome Back, Frank" storyline (12 issues) from that time period will always be one of my favorite runs. I've put together a lot of runs, but nothing super amazing. I finished my (Uncanny) X-Men run a few years back. I got lucky with quite a few of the early ones. I wouldn't be able to touch the series now with the current market craziness. Like others have stated, my tastes have changed over the years, but I've had a few core series or runs in my collection that I enjoyed putting together. X-Men Miller's Daredevil run to include #219, 226-233 and the Man Without Fear #1-5 Punisher (2000) #1-12 IDW's Transformers G1 2005-2018 continuity. I went full completist mode on this and got all the variants and every cover. I feel into the the gimmick trap. All kidding aside, I loved this run until near the end when Hasbro got a little too involved and the storylines too convoluted. Otherwise I loved the main series and the off shoot minis. Can't think of a 5th right now, but Ghosts or Witching Hour will probably go here once I complete those.

The first Predator just had so much going for it. From a plot perspective, it's very minimalist and just a different take on hunting "the most dangerous game". Add in all these big, meathead special forces guys being taken down one by one and it just works. The scene where Dillon is killed in phenomenal from a technical aspect. No other scene in the film is framed or shot that way. It really drove home the fact that Dillon realized (too late) that they weren't up against a human. I've even developed more of an appreciation for Predator 2 over the years for adding to the lore and mystique. Danny Glover may have been slightly miscast, but it kinda makes sense when watching it. Predators was a valiant attempt to go back to the roots after the AvP films. The Predator was a mess, at least for me. I did not like it. This isn't a franchise that requires much tinkering. It relies on some interesting characters and locations. It's not an indie art house film. Keeping it simple is apparently too hard to comprehend.

I'll be 38 next month, but got back into it in 2013 after not doing much since around 2006/2007. My focus has changed a few times over the years but I've had a lot of fun and frustrations with the hobby since getting back in. I've read comics and bought comics since 1990, but never had much of a focus other than X-Men and Punisher back then.
