  1. I got my 5 sketch covers back from the opp yesterday. Very happy with how they came out and they are far bigger and more finished than I expected when I sent the blanks in. Not as big as they were at first, but they never really should have been that big to begin with. But obviously the guy that got like a dozen and flipped them all immediately ruined it for everyone else. But these are all very nice so I am thrilled with what I have and definitely worth the wait!
  2. Kwan, now that you sell for Joe and Rep him, did you ask him about these poster pieces and does he still have them? Now I am curious just to know where they may be. Dave K

  5. The auctions that didn't sell were all relisted at reduced prices, including all the Travis Charest and Jim Lee pages, and everything is free shipping in the US. Items include a Jim Lee Wildcats page from the first series, 3 sketches by Travis Charest including a painted sketch cover, and a bunch of other pages. They now end this Saturday night, April 22nd, around 8pm Pacific. This will be the last relisting so if they don't sell this time I will sell other things instead. 6. Hello All, I just wanted to send a quick reminder that all my eBay auctions end tomorrow, Saturday the 15th, starting at 11am Pacific. The Jim Lee and Travis Charest pieces in particular have a lot of watchers but no bids yet, so I think all the action will happen right before they end tomorrow morning. Don't miss out! 9. I have been moving things over to my "for sale" galleries on my CAF for the past few days and just wanted to share. I have art available from Jim Lee, J Scott Campbell, Tim Sale, Gabriele Dell'otto, Arthur Adams, Rob Liefeld, Mike McKone, Travis Charest, Kevin Nowlan, Philip Tan, Nick Bradshaw, Alex Sanchez, Francesco Mattina, and many more! Most of it is all priced, but I do have 4 pieces on Offer as well, which are not priced and will require an offer. So I am accepting offers for the J Scott Campbell, Tim Sale, Arthur Adams, and Philip Tan pieces but everything else is priced and priced to move! You can see everything here in my CAF Classifieds: https://www.comicartfans.com/ClassifiedsByCat.asp?gcat=28210 Payments preferred with Zelle, Google Pay, Apple Pay, or PayPal (add 4% for PayPal G&S). US Shipping is $20 for USPS Priority Mail, and International will be based on location and service choice selected by buyer. I will also put direct links to the different "for sale" galleries on my CAF as they are broken down by prices. The Classifieds link above shows it all without sorting. 10. It's already more than twice the original $1k price, but one of Arthur's recent commissions from last month (February) is already on ComicLink now. It's a great Mohawk Storm piece, so it is Marvel and available. But secondhand they still go for quite a bit more because he is so hard to get a commission from. I live near Arthur and see him at a lot of shows and I always try to get a piece from him and rarely make it. I have made this list many times but generally too far down to get mine done, but twice in the past 15 years of trying I actually made the list and he did it. (most recently a month ago at the SF Comic Art Show where I picked up my piece) So it is hard to get art from him direct, and the prices are even higher from someone else. But in case you still want it, here's the link to the auction and a pic. https://www.comiclink.com/auctions/item.asp?back=%2FAUCTIONS%2FPREVIEW.ASP%3Fcode%3D2022mar%26itemtype%3D1%23Item_1560713&id=1560713&itemType=1 It's not mine and I have no dog in this fight but figured I'd point you at it. Good luck on the hunt!
  11. Just in time for the holidays, Chance had me drop all the prices another 30% from where they were, which was already pretty cheap. So now you can get Valentino pencilled pages for a couple hundred bucks, and most is in the $200-300 range now. We have Shadowhawk pages, Pitt trading card art, Spawn pages by Dwayne Turner (both Spawn The Undead and Curse of the Spawn), and a Bloodstrike splash! Some great '90s Image art for a very reasonable price! See them all here: https://www.comicartfans.com/galleryroom.asp?gsub=195644 Thanks for looking!
  12. I have the remaining pieces of the Shadowhawk and Spawn art on my Booth at Comic Art Live this weekend! All prices have been greatly reduced! https://www.comicartfans.com/comicartlive/Booth.asp?bid=41 All prices on the remaining stuff is much, much cheaper now than it was on my CAF. We are hoping to move most of the rest of it today so it is beyond priced to move! Early Jim Valentino Shadowhawk pages for as low as $250 now! Crazy I know! So check it out if you ever wanted something affordable from the early Image days, this is your chance!
  13. Chance decided to let more stuff go, so today we added something nicer than usual. This DPS is from issue #13 of the first Shadowhawk series. Layouts by Jim Valentino, pencils by Chance Wolf, and inks by Aaron Sowd. This one features the guest stars, Jim Lee's Wildcats, and features the new Shadowhawk suit/synthetic body that ultimately doesn't last. But it is a very cool and dynamic sideways DPS from the original run of this Image founder series! The asking price on this one is $3,500 and US shipping with insurance will be $50. Paypal accepted if you pay the fees, but checks or MOs are preferred and you would pay Chance directly. I am just helping him sell them.
  14. We have sold about half of the Shadowhawk art so far and have decided to lower the prices on the rest of it, even the larger pieces. There are several at $500 or less and even a couple at $300. We also went ahead and lowered prices on the Spawn pages and Pitt card art as well, so even if you took a look before, all the prices are even better now and truly priced to move!
  15. I just uploaded a bunch of great early Shadowhawk pages by Jim Valentino from 1992-1994 on my CAF For Sale gallery for consignment art, as I am selling these on behalf of inker Chance Wolf. We all know how little of it comes to market and we have priced these very nicely! Pages, covers, and card art from the first Shadowhawk series (1992), as well as Shadowhawk II (1993) and Shadowhawk III (1994)! Everything is priced on my CAF, Paypal is accepted, and US shipping is $20. International will need a quote depending on location. Compared to what these pages sell for at auction, these are priced to move. There are also a few Dwayne Turner pages from Spawn The Undead and Curse of the Spawn, which are also rarely available! See them all here: https://www.comicartfans.com/galleryroom.asp?gsub=195644 Thanks for looking, and you can PM me here, through CAF mail, or or via email at madman1138 at Yahoo dot com. Dave K
  16. I didn't see this post until now and missed it. Do you want to sell directly since it didn't sell on eBay?
  17. 2020 sure was an insane year, but like others I had a pretty great year art-wise. Here are the 5 pieces I have entered in the annual Best Of. Due to my pickups being a bit different than usual, I am entering in some new categories I have never tried before, beside covers and pages, although I have some of those too. PUBLISHED/UNPUBLISHED NON-COMIC COVER, PIN-UPS, ILLUSTRATIONS, GAMING ART: This one is a true grail for me as I have always wanted a Wrightson piece from this era, either a Frankenstein plate or a Stephen King page specifically. With Frankenstein plates now in the 6-figure range, this was the next best I could have hoped for. It came framed and I stare at it everyday. Bernie Wrightson "November" illustration from Stephen King's Cycle of the Werewolf PUBLISHED/UNPUBLISHED COMIC BOOK COVERS: 2 great covers from 2 of my favorite properties. The first is this awesome J. Scott Campbell cover to Gen13 #17, near the end of his run on the hit title. I was glad to add another cover by him to the Gen13 collection as I truly loved that series back in the day, especially during his run. Gen13 #17 by J Scott Campbell and Alex Garner The second cover is from a favorite film property turned comic for Highlander! In this case, it is a cover painting by Gabriele Dell'Otto showing the end climax scene from the original film, and this cover was used many times for covers, limited lithos, and giclees. It is also one of Gab's first published American comic covers! Highlander #0 cover painting by Gabriele Dell'Otto PUBLISHED/UNPUBLISHED INTERIOR PANEL PAGES: I managed to get this awesome Punisher panel page from Jim Lee's run and right around the time of his transition to Uncanny X-men. This is a very dynamic page penciled and inked by Jim. Punisher War Journal #9 page 18 by Jim Lee PUBLISHED/UNPUBLISHED COMMISSION/RECREATION: This is a net category for me as I don't do recreations often. But I have been trying to find pages from Uncanny X-Men #266 for well over a decade and they just never come up or go for WAY more money than I could pay. When I tracked Mike Collins down he said he had none of the pages left after all these years, but but he had a recreation page he made for the first page Gambit appeared on and would I be interested in that? He sent me the scan and I sent him the money lol. So this is a recreation, but it is pretty exact, even with notes and text. Uncanny X-Men #266 page 13 recreation by Mike Collins You can see all of these Top 5 images on my CAF here: HERE. Thanks for looking! Dave K.
  18. Good luck, buddy! They are so hard to find and the competition is fierce.
  19. Bummer, I have been there. I hadn't seen your post until today or I would have shared it sooner. Sadly, this hobby is all about missing it by that much. But eventually something else always comes up.
  20. Nostalgia just posted their Cheap Art Wednesdays yesterday with a Doom Patrol page in it. Check that out.
  21. I saw that page sold AFTER it ended. I even tried Mike Collins directly and while he said he'd look he thinks they are all gone. I have only seen the one sell twice after the fact. So I am just hoping someone may know someone at this point.
