  1. Have not watched yet, but hearing good things makes me happy. The best that is out there so far pertaining to the firing is he has inappropriate photos which have surfaced from his Only Fans account. The other item that has been put out there is he is "very hard to work with," and this is the narrative of why he was let go from the Witcher. Granted why he was apparently unpopular on the Witcher is he was being very critical how far the show was straying from the source material.
  2. This more books then not are still out there. Based on the last update the slash through means a book has been reviewed, but that still lots to go.
  3. Shall we vit on a new label color? How about Chartreuse.
  4. You already had two tiers, yellow label and green label. Green noted the signature and it was then up to the buyer if it was valid.
  5. You can certainly argue they should have done this sooner, but with the competitions authentication people have always questioned by whom and how those signatures have been verified. CGC has finally decided it is monitarly worth it for them to provide this service. Do you remember those Steve Ditko signatures a few years back that were verified by a grading company and clearly fake? Also, you may not write signed by Stan Lee on your book, but if the current fraud issues tell us anything, there are plenty of people who would.
  6. They should have been green, the existing policy is only witness signatures get the yellow label, and they had no way to say otherwise. There is no way a submitter or grader should have been taken as an authority on signatures. There are many very talented people out there that can fake signature or certificates of authenticity. Hell, I have seen many determined kids that can do a great job faking their parents signature.
  7. This is the inherent problem. An individual stating something is fraudulent will never hold up in court, without having an expert testify to the fraud. They will need an expert to prove the case. In comics CGC is that expert, and possibly one of the other grading companies. So without CGC an individual would likely lose the case. Not to mention in this case a court would not consider the available witnesses as impartial.
  8. And he always hedges his bet just a tiny bit. He will never say he is 100% sure. It is always, it looks good, it appears authentic, I think you have the real thing here, or something like that. He never say this is 100% no question real.
  9. Yes, there is still a difference. Witnessed is 100% valid. Authentication is not an exact science so it means the signature is very likely real, but you can never say with 100% certainty.
  10. So will these all be yellow labels? If so, will the label say if it was witnessed vs authenticated?
  11. They should step back, get FF and X-Men done right, then revisit the Avengers.
  12. Seems like a questionable move. They have already beaten him 3 times, and it does not seem like he was getting any traction with fans.
  13. Could this be one of the films that Iger has cancelled? I know he said Eternals 2, Captain Marvel 3, and Ant-Man 4 are gone, but could there be more?
  14. Full naked pictures of DeMayo have surfaced apparently from only fans. Not sure if there is even more, but this has been confirmed.
  15. Filming was done in California so this would fall under that jurisdiction. Also CA laws in this case conveniently are very much in favor of the employee.
  16. The being rehired in the Carano case is a California law item, from what I have heard. The CA law states the individual must be reinstated to their former position if wrongful termination is determined. So, I am not sure it is something she wants. Her case hinges on two point by CA law. Did she have an oral or implied contract, which CA does recognize, and was this political speech. CA laws states you can not be fired for political speech, baed on laws put in place after the McCarthy era to protect people in Hollywood with socialist or communist views. I do not think she will settle, it is no financial risk or cost to her, and Musk wants to make a point in his mind.
  17. Especially since it has now been reported that season 2 is apparently fairly far along in development. Feels like Disney knows what the second shoe is and is trying to get ahead of this. Of course, this knowledge also worries me, since their firings have been very uneven. It feels like they moved too quickly on Gunn and Carano, but they waited too long on Majors, where the evidence seemed like it was more damaging and sustentative from the start.
  18. Sorry, you are going through this. I unfortunately think this is likely, since it would be the cheapest method for CGC. Your FMV was $5000 now it is $2500, here is your book and check. Yeah, saves them $2500.
  19. The next book in actual length is less then half of the first book.
  20. Except Ironheart is done and has been for some time (reportedly), unless it is going full WB Batgirl for the tax writeoff.
  21. When Iger said that Disney has quietly killed several projects, I wonder how many were connected to the MCU?
  22. Without the backing of CGC or other grading expert, I am not sure how an individual would be able to prove tampering or that the comic had been manipulated. By maintaining the comic in the case, and these books having valid CGC numbers, the scammer has an arguable case that is was CGC that failed not them, because they will of course deny the tampering. So they will claim it is CGC's liability.
  23. For the time being CGC has bought itself time by promising to make people whole. Bringing a lawsuit at this time against CGC where they have not caused any damage yet (in theory, they are still legally victims here also till proven otherwise) would be difficult to win. Remember this is only like 3 months, a very small amount of time in legal settings. If time goes by and CGC could be precieved as breaking that promise, that case becomes much easier.
