  1. I have found a few very unusual Newsstand variants where they actually changed the cover .... Uncanny X-Men # 513 and 514 , plus Dark Avengers # 7 and 8, I personally have only the Raw copies right now, my newsstands are probably 9.0 to 9.2, here are a couple of pictures from Ebay listings ( not mine, just borrowed ) These were a cross over part of Utopia, and the regular Direct editions had a UTOPIA logo front and center with the issue number in a small bar across the top. I guess newsstands wanted the title to be more prominent, so there is a change where the Issue title and number are printed large center, ant the Utopia logo is on the small bar across the top Of course asking prices are much different than sale prices, but they are asking $1,500 for the newsstand and $90 for the Direct Anyone else ever find different Newsstand covers... any titles
  2. On the Verify CGC Certification page, could it be possible to add a statement if / when a book has been Re-Holdered . One extra line or a double date for original and re-holder Obviously a red or early blue label is a dead give away that a book hasn't been; and a new holder design means it was within past year and half, But what about a 10- 15 year old book that was re-holdered just before the new design , It could have been as recent as 2 years ago, maybe 5, or still the original case from 13 years ( I believe the " standard " blue label came out in 2004 or '05, ) most book out there have that style label and holder, I do check the certification when I purchase books, and if it was originally slabbed prior to 2007 ( I go by 10 years, not 7 ) I send it in for re-holder. As time goes by, this will become a more important issue, as hundreds of thousands of books

  7. currently around 7,000 books. plus another 100 slabbed graded books. All X-Men and related I have 8 four-drawer custom file cabinets. Divided in half to fit comic size books. I got the idea from the ones used by a local comic shop, and had a custom cabinet company make them for me. I slimmed down my collection about 8 years ago, and decided to concentrate on ONLY X-men and related titles. < used to have various Fantastic Four / Avengers / Spider-Man books, > So with exception of Original 67 issues of X-Men ( I do have some, but not all ) I have nearly every X-Title, cross over / one shot / limited series / and variant cover made
