  1. Great first night. 8 need to catch my breathe and plug in my phone now. That was fun. Thanks again!
  2. Thanks I was really pleased with the cover. It does have a piece of reinforcement tape on the inside of the back cover so I am interested to see how CGC will grade it.
  3. So excited to finally be part of the Crime Suspenstories 22 Club. Took forever to find one. Will probably press, clean and send off to CGC next. Such a cool book with such great history!
  4. Just had a great transaction with Ryan on a beautiful Daredevil 1 that was shipped out right away in perfect shape and looked even better that the photos. Just as he promised. Thanks so much! AJ
  5. Wolverines 2 Maleev Variant And if Avengers vs Xmen 3 Campbell variant available also. Thanks, AJ
  6. So sad because this seemed like it had so much potential and to fall off this agressively especially after everyone pistol whipped DC over BVSS you would think they would start to figure this stuff out. Shelve it, rework it, retool it, put everyone in a room and make them watch X-Men days of future past, Iron Man, GOTG, The Avengers and The Dark Knight on loop until it started to sink in or they could spend a few more million and go steal a few brains from those movies to figure it out.
  7. Looking for a CS22 if anyone has a couple extra. Thanks, AJ
  8. Quick Saga 1 question. On some CGC cases on the top right see I see the description.... 1st appearance of Marko, Alana, Hazel, Prince Robot IV, Special Agent Gale, Vez, The Will & Lying Cat but on other CGC cases on the top right it is blank. I am also talking about the normal print not the RRP. Not sure if the same holds true for the RRP. Can someone help advise? Looking to hopefully purchase a 9.8 but don't want to make a mistake. Thanks!
  9. Thanks so much. Considering sending it out to get graded also wondering if a good candidate for a clean and press. I've never tried it. Thanks
  10. This thread is awesome! Thanks so much for the support everyone. When I first joined this was the first thread I followed hoping to be a part of it. The journey itself was a long time in the making but once the wife was onboard and the funds were available somehow things fell into place rather quickly. For me I love collecting many different books but mainly silver and bronze but I took about 10 years off and now I'm back with a passion. The game has definitely changed with the success of comics and Hollywood but I feel like these books are finally getting the respect that they deserve and for me nothing has ever pulled on my like an AF15. Every aspect of it starting with the storyline based upon responsibility to your fellow man and true character realism. On top of that having some of the best artists in the industry lovingly take on Spider-Man over the years and I am always blown away by the cover and the cover story. I think it was true genius that Stan Lee swapped out Ditko's cover for Kirby's cover and I don't think the book would have ever had the same draw without that happening. This AF15 was the first one I ever held and within an hour of holding this book I was 10 feet away from Stan Lee waving and yelling out to him my praises and gratitude. It has been a surreal incredible journey and it keeps getting better and to have a place to share this is the icing on the cake. Thanks again! AJ
  11. Thanks Mar-vell I'm feeling very lucky to be able to have one before they got too out of control. My favorite book!
  12. I can not truly believe that I am in the AF15 club! I just purchased my first AF15 from Bunky Brian who is here on the forum and has bunkybrothers.com. I Bumped into him at Silicon Valley Comicon where my brother bought a HOS92 from him and we started talking about a 3.0 AF15 he had. It was the first time I actually held one in my hands and I was shaking and choked up when I walked away. After I left I couldn't stop thinking about it and after talking with the wife and giving her the full online GPA analysis she was onboard. After that Brian and I had some calls, texts, videos and pictures I just went out today and met him to pick it up and could not be happier. A really great and honest guy. Looking forward to keeping the relationship going. Thanks for helping to make my dream a reality my friend!

  14. Hey everyone, New to the website and still getting my legs under me. Can I ask where on the site is the best place to check for possible AF15s that were for sale. Looking for a mid-grade slightly up or down of around a 5.0 with no or little chipping if possible but open to other options. Thanks and I hope this is the right thread to ask this on.
