  1. Double post of the first pic.... oops. Just one copy of each
  2. @greggy great stuff. Love the Roms, Thors, Wolverines.... great selection of books
  3. This is a 9 X 12 inch acrylic Wolverine . Not large obviously, but WONDERFUL detail by Johnny Desjardins. Have to let something good go in order to get more good stuff lol. $420 , includes Priority shipping within the U.S. PayPal accepted. First come first served, regardless of method of response. Thank you
  4. This came this morning (3rd and final attempt to deliver, kept missing the FedEx guy lol). Sixteen signatures. I originally sent it away to get autographed by Stan Lee - that's how long ago I sent it away lol. Unfortunately, that didn't happen.... so I went a different direction with it. It even managed to stay 9.8. Thanks go out to the people at Desert Wind.
  5. Just bought these today at a LCS. Pretty nice looking.
  6. I might have to get back with you again before it's all gone lol. (Can't say enough good things about this gentleman as a seller btw) Joshua
  7. Had a handful of books arrive. Very happy with this one. Bought this raw at Motor City Con earlier this year for $40. Worked out great. I do ASM in 9.8 White, and needed it.
  8. A few more this week... Didn't open them but they sure look nice
  9. Thank you. Thought it was a fun mix of books. Took a long time choosing, he has stacks on stacks of books to sift through. Part of the fun of it, I guess....
  10. Didn't have any intention of getting back issues, but local shop owner was offering discounts to buy in bulk....
  11. A few randoms I sent in a while ago. They weren't really books that I collect specifically, but for whatever reason I liked them when I saw them at different local comic shops. Plus, who doesn't love a Super Villain Team Up? Lol
  12. I went to Motor City on Friday. I'm not really a Convention guy, so I really don't have a point of reference . Think I was at Motor City about 20 years ago, and that's it. $30 for one day, $10 to park. Additional fees for anything involving the celebrities. Seemed like a fair mix of things to see. Graded books, some guys had decent key ungraded, and plenty of lower grade stuff too. Can't say I recall being blown away by any particular books, but I was also kind of rushed as I arrived later than I would have liked. Saw some of the Walking Dead stars, and Neve Campbell. I think Henry Winkler may have waved at me. I was kind of staring trying to figure out if the old guy sitting there was The Fonz - then he waved - which made me realize I was in fact staring at him. After reading the previous posts, I probably would have liked to have seen the big dealers there, but I had a good time. I'd return next year.
  13. ...and the rest of what came along with the ASM books....
  14. Some Spidey books that arrived today... The 9.8s fill holes in a run I'm making.
  15. I appreciate the input folks. Not a key book, but one I'd submit if I thought it could be corrected (it's an Amazing Spiderman book, modern). I normally just buy them already slabbed, but this was one I didn't have yet in my run (graded, I mean).
  16. For anyone more knowledgeable than myself.... this book has a "dent/crease" (for lack of a better term). Hopefully the pic is helpful. Just don't know enough about the pressing process to know if it's worth doing , any thoughts would be appreciated.
  17. I stopped into a shop near me recently, and he told me he stopped carrying new comics.... just dealing in older books (the shop does other things too, anime, etc). Just seemed odd, with at least 3 other shops in town, seems like he'd definitely drive some folks away....
  18. Those are my favorite Action #1000 covers. Nice .
  19. I didn't say I paid their price lol. I just left them in their bags for now.
  20. Some books I bought at Fantasticon in Toledo this weekend. They are all very nice looking in person. (I might add, I thought all the vendors at the show were very personable, and that it was a pleasant experience dealing with / interacting with them.)
