  1. Time to get some more books graded for sale. Will be doing them in batches. most are probably 4-5s to my uneducated eye - with the exception of a couple old ASM with tape up the spine <cringe>. If anyone has specific interest in any of these, I'll bump them to the head of the line to grade: ASM: 15, 18, 19, 27, 41, 42, 44, 45, 47, 48, 49, 50, 53, 57, 62, 63, 64, 65, 66, 75, 76, 77, 100, 121, 122 (the Gwen Stacy issues are in much better shape) ASM Annual: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 DD: 2, 3, 5 X-men 24, 41, 42, 94-103, GS1 (bronze age books are in much better shape) TOS: 40 Will be a few weeks lead time as these have to be sent in. Thanks for your interest Will pics to be added, again any requests will move to front of list.
  2. Looking to find loving homes for my old books.
  3. Lightning fast payment, a pleasure to deal with. Thank you.
  4. Looking to sell Avengers 1, 3.0 asking $1200 Will ship USPS insured included. US only 14 day return Paypal or escrow.com I realize I haven't been very active here, not sure what I can use for a reference - I don't usually sell things. Certainly willing to do what is reasonably necessary to ensure a smooth transaction.
  5. It has that wonderful smell all old comics seem to have. Not musty, more like old paper and ink smell.
  6. scratched off color? not sure how else to describe it
  7. Will be posting my Avengers 1, cgc 3.0 as soon as it returns to me.
  8. I'm not finding my answer via search, so sorry if this is a dumb noob question. In the process of getting my collection graded/sold. 3 sets in particular I'm wondering if better sold off 1 by 1 or as a set: X-men 94-100 and GS1 (also have 101 and 102) Iron Man 1-200+ Amazing Spider-Man 121, 122 Any thoughts, guidance on this greatly appreciated.
  9. Hello. I'm James I collected a lot of Marvel back in the 80s, primarily Iron Man, and Amazing Spider-Man, and was able to back fill from there, eventually getting all of Iron Man from 1 to somewhere in the mid 200s. I found this board as all my books were taking up space at my brother's place and he needs the room, so I'm now beginning the process of grading and selling them. Hopefully someone here may have an interest in some of them and they can find new homes. (SO SO GLAD mom didn't garage sale them years ago) Anyway I'll be posting stuff as I get it graded and ready to go. Avengers 1 is on its way for grading now. Most are in nice shape, a few are rough (ASM 2 for example). Feel free to PM if you are looking for anything in particular, and I'll get it lined up for grading.
