  1. Wool 1 seems to be a ghost. I have the B cover, which is even harder to come by. If Apple has success with this series, it will be nearly impossible to find any issues in the wild.
  2. Some seller with 0% feedback is selling 3 individual Immortal 2 Zaffino variants for $76.25. What is really shady is this seller is from China and is not charging anything for shipping. Anyone who is dumb enough to purchase a copy from this seller, deserves what they get.
  3. Immortal Hulk 2 Zaffino variant just eclipsed a new record. A 9.8 hit $760 on eBay. The story and art is great which is contributing to the euphoria. Where this goes, nobody knows but it nice to know that the attention is on the story, which it deserves.
  4. Looks like the Zaffino variant of Immortal Hulk 2 has a print run of less than 2000, based on a print run of 43,000. Probably still has some meat left on its bone for the scavengers to dissect.
  5. I agree. Fear of missing out is rearing it’s ugly head again.
  6. Immortal Hulk 2 is red hot! The Zaffino variant is shooting to new highs and the Alex Ross regular cover is as well. Not sure if this can keep up. Although, the series is a very fun read and one of the best series out there.
  7. Curious to see how high Kathy 1 will be bid on in the Heritage auction coming up. It is a somewhat obscure teen humor comic with very few, if any, graded in the series. Looking at past auctions, first graded of teen humor issues have seen pretty robust bidding, as of late.
  8. I understand having Schomburg as the artist carries some weight. I think what carries a lot of weight is having the first issue of a title with the added importance of it being the only graded copy as well. Good girl comics, whether it is issue 1 or something else, sets record amounts when the only graded copy comes out to the market.
  9. I’m keeping an eye out for Kathy 1 (6.0) on the Heritage auction in February, I believe. This will be the first one sold at auction, raw or graded. This should tell us how important the first one up will be. Normally we see record prices on these somewhat obscure titles that are brought up for the first time. BTW, congratulations on that Patsy Walker. Really nice cover!
  10. I noticed a Kathy 2 vg raw went for nearly $200 on eBay last night. Are these good girl comics, especially from Standard, extremely scarce? I noticed very few in the census. Are we going to continue to see these prices keep trending up to record prices? No one has to tell me what has happened to precode horror. I’m just wondering if this genre of good girl comics will keep pace.
  11. Well said Bronze! Someone who avoided the public like the plague because he felt his work was the only thing important. I think his place in history will gain even more in importance as the years go by.
  12. Congrats on the Fantastic Fears 5. I have a lower grade copy. Apparently, someone is trying to sell his 5.0 copy for nearly $2000 on EBay with a best offer option.
  13. I’m hoping Manifest Destiny sees the time of day. Still one of my favorite Skybound titles to read. How that correlates to a tv or movie adaption may be difficult.
  14. Fantastic Four annual #6, first appearance of Annihulus, is still very underrated and underpriced in my opinion.
  15. Congratulations! That is a gorgeous book.
