  1. Promoted Listings are basically SEO advertisements on eBay. Ad blockers are flagging those as ads.
  2. If you have an adblocker it blocks Promoted Listings. So in a weird way you may pay more to make the listing less visible.
  3. Something also I wish I thought ahead about. When I got my life insurance, if I died it could have easily afforded my family buying a house. 12 years later it's about 1/3 a house. Purchase with inflation in mind.
  4. Looks like he was hit with Administrative Dissolution at the beginning of this year on his second LLC that he created post bankruptcy of the first one. https://egov.sos.state.or.us/br/pkg_web_name_srch_inq.show_detl?p_be_rsn=2353530&p_srce=BR_INQ&p_print=FALSE Consequences of Administrative Action A state agency's first step to obtain LLC compliance is a letter notifying the owners of the LLC of what action they must take. The letter will typically include a notice of a penalty for late compliance, such as a fine, and what further penalties can be administered if the LLC continues to fail to comply. The next level of penalties typically involves a suspension of the LLC's right to conduct business. This can expose the LLC owners to personal liability for any debts incurred by the LLC during the suspension. The maximum penalty is for the LLC to be administratively dissolved or terminated. This means that the LLC's right to conduct business is ended and the only action the LLC can lawfully take is to wind up its affairs, pay its remaining debts and distribute the remaining assets to the owners.
  5. They may have their uses. Obviously it depends on how you pack, but my 1095 packed slabs frequently come out almost exactly 2lbs on the dot. Some lighter, some heavier. However, even 2.01lbs puts me in the 3lb cost range. That price difference can be upwards of $4-5 depending on the zone it is shipped to. If the Geminis can be reliably shipped under 2lbs, then it may be cheaper to use those in certain instances. Also keep in mind that Priority is more expensive than the new Ground Advantage tier. It's very possible that "free" box is costing you more to ship now.
  6. I pay for a PO Box annually just for my comic purchases. It's the best $150ish bucks I spend a year. Never have to worry about porch pirates or underpaid and overworked delivery drivers.
  7. Sounds like the dude got divorced and is trying to claw back some money. If you have conversations of him telling you to send it to his wife's account you can tell him to pound sand.
  8. My guess is there's a tracking number error that's somehow conflicting with another package. I recently had an package from Brazil come to my PO Box. When I went to sign for it, it wanted me to confirm my address on the screen which showed up as a residental house in New York. I live in Los Angeles and the package clearly showed my LA PO Box.
  9. Does CGC collect FMV grading fees if a book is resubmitted and retains the same grade?
  10. Seeing the release date for The Acolyte floating around as June 5th. Wonder if we'll see a bump to some HR issues
  11. Supposedly June 5th is the release date.
  12. Figured I'd circle back to see what a few art pieces are at in the Feb/March CL auction, and practically every piece already has 25+ bids with some having 120+ bids. The lowest bid count of any item in the entire auction is 7. This auction has been open for only a two days now (with 18 days left at the time of this post), and it seems like a lot of the pieces are already at what I expected them to go for at the hammer. Anyone else notice this?
  13. I wonder if it's clear and obvious that it's not a swap based on their internal photos they don't crack it. If it's questionable they crack it and replace the certification for their own records.
  14. Throw it in a toaster oven for 6 minutes at 200F.
  15. Not really. There's always exceptions, but there's nothing that makes then stand out over the test of time. Most of their runs are low printings because that's what's the market demand is. That being said, you likely wouldn't have too much trouble moving them on Ebay or a Facebook fan group.
  16. You put one forever stamp on a 10 ounce envelope?
  17. USPS processes close to 5,000 pieces of mail per second. Mail gets lost due to missed scans of tracking codes. Sometimes it's computer error, sometimes it's human error.
