  1. My most recent additions to the CGC collection, just got these babies back last week. It's no ASM 667 but the BS7 is one of my fav covers of all time, so im stoked!
  2. Any info on who will have these? They're supposedly store variant covers for The Return of Wolverine #1 & #2, but I can't find anything on them yet. I know they're recycled art, but in this case, I really don't care.
  3. Thank you all for the input, 9.0 is a little below where I want this book (for the price), I didn't know those type of defects would drop the grade almost a full point! Good to know. The search continues!
  4. It looks pretty sharp to me, but I just don't know what the light scratches and scuffing on the back cover does to the grade. Could this qualify as a 9.6-9.8? Thanks in advance!
  5. Very good, thank you! Still a unicorn, but something else to watch for at a reasonable price.
  6. Do you know if The Good Morty came in all S1 BluRays or only ones labeled like yours with "Comic Book Inside!"
  7. Thank you for the clarification, even at +/- $10 I still consider that reasonable in this case. I'm in!
  8. I know you're right, but I wish they'd stick to a set pricing tier. Or at least have 2 preset tiers that never change (low end and high end) instead of ebbing and flowing with the buzz. My fingers are crossed for reasonable pricing!
  9. The newsstand and second print will have lower runs if you happen to see any, may not be a bad cheap grab. I've only seen a few newsstands period, let alone in NM+
  10. I mean....wow. Where do you even start?! Has anyone attempted to value this collection?? Edit: All I could find. "With the goal of becoming the biggest comic book dealer in the world, Zurzolo set out against dealers with more cash, inventory and connections. In 1999, realizing he couldn't beat Fishler, Zurzolo joined him. Metropolis now owns a collection valued in the tens of millions of dollars, although Zurzolo won't name a specific number. "
  11. The books looks really clean, with the exception of this large color breaking crease. Any ideas what this would be?
  12. Good question, definitely has a straight forward vibe, maybe it's just because I know him to have a pretty much 100% heavy oil painted look to his work. Even if he just penciled it seems...different. In a good way. I'd like to see more "traditional" work from him honestly. It reminds me of something, maybe the long slicked back horns? Does anyone else draw them that way? The bone claws make it stand out too for sure, and the color scheme makes it look older than it is. I can't put my finger on it.
  13. Here's a little something different to hunt. Wolverine #33 - German Edition Cover Date: April 2000 I've never seen this book or this style before, and thought it was very interesting in contrast to his other works. I can't find ANYTHING on this book as far as print run, value or any mention at all really. I'd love to have this one! Thoughts?
  14. Well yea, but TAH 22 wasn't nearly as in your face, it's way muted in comparison. It's a fine cover but maybe overkill? "Recalls" to two months ago...we are all very aware of the greeness of all that is Hulk. Side note, unless i'm missing something, doesn't that tube seem pretty small on the Dell'Otto cover?
  15. I don't care how much you like green, this is too much. I did a quick lazy thing to prove a point, imagine if someone who knew what they were doing took 10 minutes to tone it out. That being said, I love the artwork, as usual.
  16. Personally I think it's such a freaking cool mash up i'll be holding these, and will have zero regrets if it "tanks" because i'd be happy to have them in my PC. It's all preference of course, and i'm sure we're in for a landslide of mashup characters now, so who knows. You will also always have purists, old school guys and modern haters saying to buy the safer silver/bronze keys instead, which is never bad advice long term. But those books have settled for the most part with their arcs done and stories told. At least with Weapon H we have unknown direction, and fresh new content TBD. Modern keys are so volatile, the ROI is so high and risk so low, you'd be crazy not to hold one or two if you have multiples. What if it's a consistent $500 9.8 in a year or two? Would your $30 raw profit today be worth it then? If it settles to a $100 9.8 (doubtful) then you still profit ~$60, assuming you're in at cover price, it's literally a win/win. People mess up by comparing this character to that character (spidergwen), when really WHO KNOWS?! Market trends are not black and white by any means, and there are always stand out exceptions to every rule. I think $35-40 isn't a terrible buy in either, maybe wait for a deal but I'm not sure NM+ raw copies will drop much if at all in the foreseeable future, worst case you lose what, $10-15 on your purchase? Best case you make hundreds and hundreds if not thousands. Don't bank too hard on it if you're just getting in but, I sure have a copy socked back. I would put the Batman who laughs in this same boat. Just my 2 cents... HOLD!
  17. I really don't know much about books that fall under an 8.0, my completely uneducated guess is a 4.5-5.0 The bottom staple is loose but not detached. Please give me your best guess as to a fair monetary value, or approximate grade. I am trying to buy the book, but I do not know how hard the loose staple hits the grade. I have a pretty good eye for VF or better, but lower grades are beyond me. Thanks in advance!
