  1. Does this copy just look faded due to a bad scan? http://www.comicconnect.com/bookDetail.php?id=410744
  2. No problem. Very smooth transaction, thank you. Hope you enjoy the book!
  3. I also just posted closeups of what I consider the main keys of the lot in the "whats new in your collection" in the silver age forum, Thanks everybody! It's a really exciting find for sure
  4. As I stated in the AF 15 club: about a month and a half ago I bought an estate (house with including everything inside) and found a box of comics after a few days. It was a very interesting collection indeed. Had about 150-170 comics with a few nice keys. Here are some pictures of the covers
  5. I posted my JIM 83 & 85 in the "Hey buddy can you spare a grade". I am new to the forums here and don't want to break any rules by detouring this thread from AF15
  6. My ticket in! Not a 9.0 but I like it!
  7. There were about 150 comics. I found some pretty awesome comics IMO. Here is a group shot of some of the top issues. I haven't been able to find out too much about them personally. I know they lived there a very long time and had both passed away and the house sat vacant for a while before the family decided to sell it and everything inside. What I can't wrap my head around is how this box of comics came together. With so many keys in it I have to believe he was a collector of some sort, but the way they were sort of stuffed in a box without being bagged or boarded and in the location of the house I found them it's honestly really blowing my mind. Because if he was a collector he would have known their worth and should have stored them differently. One of the most confusing, lucky, fortuitous things I have ever been a part of. Most of the keys are surprisingly in good shape
  8. Yes, my fingers are crossed. I actually am in real estate and I bought an entire estate (house with everything inside). And after a few days I found a box full of comics. This gem was one of them. Only time I've ever found anything of value in any of my projects.
  9. I do not believe it is trimmed. I am just an amateur though so I can't be sure. That picture came out with a weird glare at the top that sort of has an illusionary effect IMO. Here's a pic inside it's bag.
  10. Joined the club I am going to send it in to CGC some time next week.
