  1. Still waiting on my books to be entered into the system. Books were dropped off at C2E2. I should've mailed them
  2. Ok so when does the order actually begin? Once it arrives back at their office in FL or once it is entered into their system as verified?
  3. How long does it take for an order to be logged into CGC system? Had books dropped off at C2E2. How long does it normally take orders to show up in your account? thanks
  4. My first batch of books that I submitted to CGC for grading were as follows: Wolverine #1-7.5 ASM 362-8.5 green label because the konami ad was missing (I didn't know that) Hulk 181- 4.0 Harbinger 1- 9.4 Flash 92- 9.0 Needless to say the grades sucked.
  5. I have a little over 100 comic books to grade with CGC. I was going to submit all 100 and have them all slabbed but I noticed the pre-screen option. I have (3) questions: 1. Do you get charged the $5 Pre-screen fee plus the grading fee if the book passes or is a straight $18 for a modern book? 2. Because of the large QTY (to me at least) would you pre-screen first prior to slabbing? 3. Do you get grader notes or any notion on why the book does not meet your min grade? I'm new to grading so any help or guidance would be great. Thanks
  6. I wanted to update everybody on this situation. A week went by and the buyer actually paid for this item. I thought to myself maybe just maybe he decided to honor his bid and move on. I of course had reservation about this but in good faith decided to pack it up and ship it to him. Boy was I wrong... He opened a return request today stating the CGC case was cracked on the side. This is impossible since I packed it with (2) large bubble envelopes with extensive large bubble wrap cushioning inside a box filled with foam peanuts. The buyer simply had buyers remorse but did not want an unpaid strike to his account. I called eBay to see what are my options and they pretty much told to go F yourself and accept the return. If I had escalated the case I would not only lose the case but I would not rec my final value fees. Ooh and I also had to send him a return label on my dime... Needless to say you should block eBay member sunbae75 who name is Jason Kim from Leonia, NJ from bidding on your items.
  7. If we did a deal on this forum please leave feedback for me! Thank you
  8. I just started selling graded books on eBay. The only way that I ship right now is Priority mail medium flat rate box with bubble wrap and foam peanuts. Is there a cheaper alternative so I can save my buyers some $$$ and still ship securely? Thanks
  9. I just started selling comic books on eBay. I hate that some bidders do not care about the time it takes to list a book and wait for the auction to end. Only to receive a message to simply ask if they can cancel. I sold a CGC graded book last night and I get a message from a buyer with the following message: New message from: sunbae75 (945) I'm sorry, but I can't pay for this item. Please cancel it. Feel free to add this loser to your block list.
  10. Thank you. I'm very new to the comic book grading game. So, I am trying to learn what to look for when it comes down to silver age books. On a separate note does CGC have different guidelines when it comes to grading for modern vs vintage books?
  11. What do you guys think this book will grade? Looks pretty solid to me without a press/clean yet. Thanks
  12. Noob here...I recently submitted my first (2) order of books to be graded by CGC. I have two orders: (8) books for Modern Fast Track (2) Economy Fast Track The Modern order shows the books have been verified and the 2 economy order shows graded. However, I don't see the grades online. How many more steps is there in the grading processes and how long does that take until I see the grades online and get my books back? Thanks and I'm sure a similar question has been asked in this tread before but I'm not looking through 814 pages
