  1. Bullet through head to near-miss bullets all around
  2. Avengers #251 page 3 — Bob Hall/Joe Sinnott. Cap vs (unbeknownst to him) Hercules dressed up as a giant robot, as Cap goes through the Avengers’ version of the Danger Room.
  3. Defenders #93 page 19 — Joe Sinnott inks over Don Perlin pencils. Signed by Sinnott lower left. Dr. Strange, Valkyrie and Son of Satan in battle vs Atlantean hordes; Namor striking a dramatic pose and breaking the fourth wall in the last panel. $1,000
  4. 5 Simple Rules (Please, please read) 1st wins; tie/indeterminate goes to the thread. Payment is Check or Money Order (yeah, yeah I know I'm a dinosaur, troglodyte, luddite, mennonite, hermaphrodite etc. - I just don't have or want e-payments.) Shipping: Via USPS Mail is $25 for a wrapped double foam core sangwich, with all the appetizing condiments (sleeve, bubble wrap, tape, plain brown Wrapper — no mayo, mustard, juice etc) Slight adjustment based on actual cost for shipping to Canada. Don't be listy including the little one in my head. Returns: Sure, just notify me within three days of receipt and get it back to me in the same shape on your dime.
  5. Don’t get me wrong, I’d make a ton of dum b @ss sophomoric jokes about the title, but I’d watch it.
  6. That trailer was waaaay more amusing than the last few Marvel movies I saw. It does have an old school Looney Tunes feel. I’d watch it.
  7. Sometimes. I just got back Shadow Comics v3 #12, which I never should have sold. Good news is seller doubled his money. Bad news is I’m the guy who sold it to him in the first place.
  8. Re-Opened for a FLASH SALE! $2,400 shipped within U.S. for 24 hours only! As you can see in the post above, a raw VGish sold in January on eBay for $2499 plus shipping.
  9. Just bought this one back from the guy I sold it to. If he wasn’t a friend and a Shadow fan, I would never have let it go the first time. Welcome back home!
  10. After three years, I’d say this thread is due for a bump. If anyone comes across this in one of the various Frazetta art books, please let me know which one so I can track down a copy of the book.
  11. Too vague. I’ll go with VS for now.
  12. Anthony’s has this one: https://www.anthonyscomicbookart.com/GalleryPiece.asp?Piece=95352
  13. I was gonna do a recap but I’m tired. Everything left is on the first three pages. Most of it is very affordable fun stuff, with a handful of pricier items in there — a TMNT #3, an Esteban Maroto original vampire sketch, the out of print Spectre archives, a copy of Origins of Marvel Comics signed by Joe Sinnott, the issue of Time magazine that reviewed All-Negro Comics #1. Feel free to PM; I’m open to offers on everything except the Maroto. I’ll close up Thursday a.m. most likely. Thanks all!
  14. Sorry for any confusion, Mike. I’m thinking they all go together as a sales sub-forum under Pulps discussion section, as OA has one under Original Art discussion section of the boards.
  15. My first reaction was it’s fine the way things are, but if so many pulp collectors want it separate, it’s worth a shot! Douglas raised a good question above — does it go under Comics selling area or under pulps, a la OA? I think it should go in the Pulps section; Mixed is already a no man’s land that few can find! Would a pulps sub-section also be the place for Mens adventure mags, since we’re talking hardbacks and paperbacks too? (I also assume it would be the place for Big Little Books, but I think those are deader than stamps. I remember seeing those things at shows as a teenager in the 80’s and thinking they were old guy stuff back then!)
  16. Saddened by this. Loved his work. Thank you for all you’ve left us.
  17. @Toz sez youse people don’t know nuttin’ about throwing dem PM offers. So there!
