Another theory is it is one of David's personalities, which by looking back on him before departing it was his way of saying farewell to that single personality. Now watch in Episode Two it turns out to be something simple to explain, and all this deep thinking goes out the window.

Totally agree! That second Apes movie was a fantastic production. And when the apes invaded, that could have easily turned into a Michael Bay 'loads of explosions - people screaming - parts flying - cue the music - THE END' third act. He really kept it action-packed yet emotional and meaningful. Solid choice!

Hugh Jackman has been fantastic throughout. Unfortunately the scripts he had to portray have not been the best at times. But I really enjoyed his performances in Days of Future Past and The Wolverine. Even his mini-appearance in Apocalypse. So really looking forward to Logan.

First episode was outstanding! Zany storytelling, funny yet intense scenes, very strange characters and a level of mystery where you are not sure if we are in David's head or actually experiencing show reality. Anyone recognize the potential villain?
