Kind of tempted to ask CGC for a cleaning and resubmit. I can't see any flaws on this book but its probably due to the page quality and staple (which I can't see much rust on it). Still, graded back in 2009
Wow! Next to Scrooge, Magica is my favorite Bark's character. I would love to have a nicer copy of this book. My copy is "only" an 8.5. I bought it off of eBay way back when as a raw NMish copy. Knew it wasn't when I received it but it was nice enough and the page quality is stellar. Seeing yours does make me want to upgrade though.

It has been a decades-long goal of mine to complete the run of New Adventure Comics, which most seasoned collectors agree is the most challenging series of DC books. This 20-book run includes numerous classic covers by my favorite Golden Age artist, Creig Flessel, as well as interior work by the likes of Siegel and Shuster, Leo O’Mealia, Fred Guardineer and Bob Kane (before Batman).
My quest started in the 1990’s, when I ran monthly want ads in the Comic Book Marketplace magazine offering to purchase any of these books. How many responses did I get? Not even one! So I had to do it the hard way – picking up, at most, a copy or two a year from dealers, fellow collectors or auctions. Although I was able to complete most of the run after a couple of decades of effort, one issue continued to elude me. Until now.
Having finally completed the set, I plan to post the books in sequential order in this thread.
I'm late to the party but I'll add my cheers to this accomplishment. Completing just about any GA run is tough but this is an order of magnitude more difficult than most! Congratulations!

Not sure if you are asking about this but here are at least some of his comics from 2010.

Also, here is a short entry on him in Wikipedia for those, like me, who had never herd of him.

Oh I'm sorry you didn't know but Rich passed away last year. Here is the tribute thread if you would like to read it.
Thank you for posting this.

I never got to meet the man; only corresponded through PM. Seemed like a really nice person, and after reading all of the fond memories in this thread, one I wished I could have shook hands with. I now understand why he was so interested in my Uncle Scrooge #6 (bought as a 7.0 raw/graded out as a 6.5).
R.I.P. Rich.

Two early issues came up on these boards for sale a number of years back. I was thinking the price was a bit steep but @Yellow Kid Rich Olson convinced me they were a good buy. I sure miss Rich's advice. Here they are.
Those are nice looking copies. Pardon my ignorance but did something happen to Rich? I never met him personally but we had talked a little through the boards.
