  1. This is my first piece of the new year for my Dave Stevens homage quest. This artist did exactly what I'd hoped to receive when he took on this commission. He had fun and went in a whole new direction. Aurora
  2. I really like this page because it stands by itself. The last panel just pops. Grendel
  3. I got an email from Roy Thomas recently asking for my address so that he could send me a hardcover copy of Alter Ego issue #172. Turns out my Alcala page was used for an article about the great Alfredo Alcala. If that wasn't sweet enough my name is in the Special Thanks section as well as next to the image of my page as a "scan courtesy of Michael Diaz". See the images here: Alcala MY NAME IN PRINT!
  4. Just had this framed recently. I don't have a lot of wall space in my Mancave so I had to take a piece down to put this up. Check it out on the extra pics. You can also see what is behind the stat in the extra pics.Cavewoman framed
  5. I'll let the page speak for itself. Cavewoman
  6. As some of you may know for the past few years I've been commissioning artists to do a finished pencil homage of my Dave Stevens prelim. My latest is by Joe Matt. Joe writes and draws the autobiographical comic "Peep Show". Joe really went outside the lines with his interpretation. Have a look. Matt
  7. This is one of those pages that if I had let it go by I would have regretted it. Have a look. Budd
  8. For you Budd Root fans I've just put a Cavewoman page up for auction on ebay. Have a look. Cavewoman
  9. I finally got a page from Gilbert Hernandez's "Birdland". Not work safe. Have a look. Birdland
  10. They just don't sell their art so don't hold you breath. I recommend "One Punch Man", "A Silent Voice", "Gigant", "Blame!", "Gyo" (or anything by Junji Ito), "Downfall", "One Piece", "Food Wars Shokugeki No Soma", and just for fun "Jaco The Galactic Patrolman".
  11. Start by reading "One Punch Man" or watch the anime. It it the best superhero story I've read in decades.
  12. I've been reading a lot of Manga because I just can't read Marvel and DC anymore. Anyone else out there doing the same? Here are some original pieces I purchased recently. Have a look. Manga
  13. Batman and Harley sell for $600 but he is famous for those characters.
  14. At first glance it doesn't seem like a big deal. He's done a WW head shot dozens of times but this one has shading. He almost never does shading on any of his head shots. Batman and Harley are going for over $600. What do you think I could ask for this? Timm
  15. I have this piece of Wolverine By Lee Bermejo I'm auctioning off. Wolverine
  16. I got in touch with him but he only is doing those cards.
  17. I've left emails for over a year but I get no reply. Can anyone help me get in touch with Fred Hembeck?
  18. Buraddorun wins the no-prize prize. Great powers of observation. The Watcher avatar is well deserved.
  19. This completes my Woodring commission theme. Can you figure out what binds the four pieces together? It has nothing to do with the characters themselves. (No help from Brian, Alex, Sean or Malvin). Woodring commissions
  20. I have two pages from an issue of a WWBN that date back to the seventies. One page has the word balloons pasted on while the other has them drawn into the art. How does that happen?
  21. Was thrilled to get this three panel Perlin page from my favorite WWBN comic. Have a look WWBN
