  1. only 3 years late to the party, but great copy!
  2. So much for getting one 😥. Even run of the mill books in 9.2 or 9.4 grades still sold for 3-4 times guide.
  3. Here is the left bottom corner of the Suspense Comics #11, graded a 9.8. Really??
  4. Ok, thanks! Apparently my grading skills suck then. I also sent 23 modern books for grading so it will be interesting to see how close I am on those.
  5. I used to send comics all the time to get graded and I was usually pretty darn close. I definitely wasn’t off by one or two full grades on every single comic.
  6. I just submitted 10 older comics to CGC and got them all back today. Every single one was graded one or two grades lower than I expected. Has their grading tightened up significantly in the last few years? Two of the books were from the Palo Alto collection and one was graded by them an 8.0 and CGC graded it a 6.0 and the other was graded a 6.0 by them and CGC graded at a 4.0. Very disappointed!
  7. I have an old golden age comic that has tape pretty much down the entire spine keeping the cover on. What is the best grade it would get or would it get some kind of restored grade? Thx!
  8. Great covers everyone - fun to see some of these again !
  9. Nice hoard! 1980 and 1990 copper age Marvel and DC books are SUPER rare!!!
  10. Wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, and wow!!
  11. Don't recall seeing this cover unless it was at the beginning of the thread
  12. Awesome cover, and I like the black background for your scan!
