  1. if you want to be 100% sure, you can contact the person who runs this site, she has a direct contact with moebius' wife, who will be able to identify it (she's a very kind woman, so she will be happy to help) : https://www.moebius.fr/Le-site-Officiel-de-Jean-Giraud-Moebius-BOUTIQUE-ACCUEIL
  2. still, i much prefered hitch (still love him though) when he was inked by neary......i don't know why these guys stopped working together
  3. here are some fine examples of hitch artwork, which i bought years ago (and i don't think i'll ever sell, because it's hard to find splash pages or covers from hitch) ultimates (DVD cover, 22' x 17')
  4. no, it's not the same thing : ultimates = avengers 1 movie....age of ultron (still by hitch) = avengers 2 movie and ultimates and authority were classics runs....and yes, jackson was fury in ultimates in the comics years before the movie.....in ultimates 2 or 3, we even had a mention of someone name freddie prinze jr (if someone recalls him), who was dating betty banner and who hulk was after....those were fun moments
  5. you can't put greg land on the same level....he didn't do any memorable comics, although authority and ultimates were a revolution in comics at the time they were printed, and set new levels for comics (in my opinion)
  6. i always thought hitch was way underrated, although his art is amazing.......i like the old hitch pages, when he was inked by neary, and not the later ones inked by himself (or guice, or anyone else) old ultimates / JLA / authority pages (inked by neary) were just incredible, but it seems the prices were higher before than they are now (for a reason i don't understand, i can't exactly explain why the prices have dropped) and he also was doing very nice commissions (you have some nice examples on CAF) when i think of him now, it seems as a big waste, even if he stills does great work (on the recent JLA issues for example) on the other hand, some great pages / splash / covers from the ultimates / JLA / authority series sell for a lot, and it doesn't seem to be a lot of them on the market
  7. hi can someone help me determine if this is a real or fake romita sketch (to be honest, i have a doubt because i don't especially recognize his style, and it seems very detailed for a sketch) thanks everyone
  8. hi 10% discount sale on all my pages (about 300 pages) ends in 12 hours : http://www.comicartfans.com/GalleryDetail.asp?GCat=34237 if interested, everything is also for trade, so don't hesitate if you have pages for trade, i might be interested
  9. but thanks for the judgment , it's always great to see that on internet....it recalls me of the post by meeley man (the cheapstakes one) where people were harrassing him without maybe understanding that the words he used were just a (bad) joke
  10. no, i'm still looking for skull (and other stuff too) pages (but better pages, splash pages, or something like that), so i'm selling other pages i have in the meantime (i have over 300 pages, but mid-level pages, and i'd like to reduce the number and get better pages instead)....as i bought these a long time ago, i didn't know what skull pages are Worth today, so that's my question (i don't understand how it prevents me from selling pages, and if i was just asking for estimations, i would just have asked) so if anyone has pages from skull the slayer, i'm still opened to offers as i don't find these pages anywhere (not on CAF, not on eBay, not on auctions sites or the usual dealers)
  11. sal buscema skull the slayer original art hi skull the slayer pages for sale (from issue 5 and 7) by sal buscema.....400$ each, or 700$ for both (worldwide tracked shipping included)

  14. i guess that for 68€, the package was insured, so can't you ask for a full (or partial, depends if you want to keep the art or not) refund? ho, and the eighties just called, they want their white socks back

  16. skull the slayer original art ?? hi i need help.....i'm looking for skull the slayer original art from the main serie (i think they were only 8 issues if i recall), but i can't find a page anywhere (not on ebay, not on CAF, nowhere) is it that hard to find pages from skull the slayer, because i don't think it's a very sought after serie how much do you think a classic page (from steve gan or sal buscema) would be worth? 100$, 500$, 1000$ and do you know where i can find some pages (i tried every classic sites and dealers, but no results so far)? thanks for your help
  17. May comiclink auction wow, with the heritage auction, this one seems pretty cool too : a frank miller wolverine page !! some mcfarlanes pages and cover from spawn !! john buscema several silver age pages and cover art adams cover barry Windsor Smith conan pages !! Byrne xmen 109 page finch batman cover frazetta death dealer prelim painting romita sr Spiderman pages jim lee pages (batman, xmen,...) gil kane Spiderman covers and i guess there will be more stuff by then, but wow, what a crazy idea to do these 2 auctions (heritage and comiclink) at the same time, there's way to many great stuff (i'll myself will have a splendid sanjulian huge conan oïl painting for sale at that auction, but i guess all i'll win will be spent on other stuff immediately )
