  1. Marvel Family #4 (1946, Fawcett) GD/VG to VG- $160 Low grade, but complete and attached. Looks better than a 3.0. Has a few small edge pieces out of a page or two and has some chipping around. Still a nice book.
  2. I'm going to do slight drops to $300 for the X-Men #33 and $440 for the JIM Annual #1.
  3. X-Men #33 (1967) CGC 8.0 OW/W $320 Only one sale in this grade, a week ago for $382. Really nice-looking book.
  4. Thor #166 (1969) CGC 5.5 OW $60 Not a lot in this grade. Lowest is $66 and goes up to around $90.
  5. Journey into Mystery Annual #1 (1965) CGC 5.0 OW/W $460 90-day average is about $575. Last 4 sales have been between $500 and $750.

  7. Last thing before I close the thread. This is a lot of REALLY low grade golden age comics. I've written descriptions below. Low Grade Golden Age Lot of 12 $200 Gold Medal Comics: Back Cover missing. Front cover almost completely torn down the middle True Sport Picture Stories Vol. 2, No. 3: cover detached and with chipping Young Love #61: Complete but cover attached with extra staples Ozark Ike #14: Water damage and rust at staples. Complete and attached. Top Secrets #9: Cover detached and missing chunks True Comics #37: Cover barely attached at both stable. Probably 2.0-2.5 range Sunny #11: Cover detached and split with heavy staining. Military Comics #33: Cover detached but complete with a few chips Military Comics #29: Cover detached and with chipping Pep Comics #81 Complete and attached but with water damage (2.0-2.5) Laugh Comics #36: Complete and attached but with water damage and chipping. (1.8-2.0) Laugh Comics #20: Cover detached and chipping. Probably the most significant comic of the lot. A 2.0 sold for $170 recently.
  8. Pep Comics #62 (1947, Archie Publications) GD- $45 NOW $38 Heavy water damage and staining. Complete. Cover attached (barely) at one staple. Detached at the other staple. Front cover still looks solid.
  9. All Western Magazine Pulp (1942, Dell) GD+ $20 NOW $15 A little moisture damage, but complete and presents pretty well.
  10. Complete Western Book (May 1941) GD $20 NOW $15 Complete, attached with a small spine split and obvious wear abound including some moisture damage.
  11. Had to break for bit. Adding a few more now, starting with some western pulps. Pulps aren't my specialty, but I'm glad to finally be getting some.
  12. Freckles and His Friends #6 (1948, Standard) GD $40 SOLD Not a terribly easy book to find. Fun horror cover. Heavy water staining but presents okay and is attached and complete.
  13. Mysterious Stories #6 (1955, Premier) GD- to GD $85 NOW $65 Complete and attached. Has a few smallish chunks out of the cover. Not much to go on. A copy with a complete spine split sold for about $50 online.
  14. Junior #15 (1948, Fox Features Syndicate) 1.0 FR $325 NOW $300 SOLD VIA PM I have no idea how to price this. It is... a comic. Cover detached, spine partially split, and a good amount of water staining. Complete and the main art of the cover presents nicely. A graded 2.0 sold for $750 in 2020. Great classic cover though.
  15. Jim Hardy (1944, Giant, United Features) GD/VG $40 SOLD Not a common book, so a bit hard to price. Complete and attached. Chips out of the book, but overall solid.
  16. Military Comics #34 (1944, Quality Comics) VG- $70 SOLD Solid comic, attached and complete. Some chipping and general wear.
  17. Lovers #72 (1955, Atlas) VG $25 SOLD Nice, attached, and complete. Front cover presents well but has scratches (?)
  18. The Fighting Yank #19 (1942, Nedor) Coupon Out of Back Cover $40 SOLD Schombourg for cheap. Front cover presents very nicely. Coupon out of the back cover.
  19. Archie's Pal Jughead #2 (1950, Archie Publications) GD- to GD $75 NOW $55 Complete and attached but has water damage and staining.
  20. Star Spangled Comics #54 (1946, DC) GD+ $90 NOW $74 SOLD Looks nicer than the grade but has an edge that is torn or chewed. Complete and attached throughout.
