  1. Hello - I have a book that I would like to have CGC SS from two artists that are doing separate Private Artist signings - back to back at CGC HQ Christie Scheele 1/5/24 and Ralph Macchio 1/19/24 (cut off dates, so both signings would take place approx. 14 days apart) Is it possible to submit for BOTH signings for 1 book? There would not be enough time to send back to me and me re-submit for the 2nd signing.
  2. Hello - I am working on sending a few books to be signed via the "In-House" signing. I was checking off that I wanted my book(s) cleaned and pressed. Then, I was putting in the Declared value (based on the value of the book itself, and other signatures I have paid to have on it). THEN, I got to the next screen, and it states that pressing is included. OK - I get that. Now I have to go back and remove that request at the screens prior. But then it says "No minimum or maximum declared value. Does this mean that I am not to have entered the value on the previous screen? It defaulted to $100. Can someone explain what the statement means, and what am I supposed to do. The value of the book is far more than $100! If I should not have chosen Pressing and cleaning, and if I should not declare a specific value - then don't make those options available, especially prior to getting to this screen - just throwing in my 2 cents...
  3. Thanks - I figured. I should have been more selective about which books I got the Stan Lee Label on. Flip side is that if I don't get the opportunity to get additional signatures, then I do have the special Stan Lee SS label! (trying to look at the positive - but knowing I probably threw away money on books I should have known I would get more signatures on was stupid of me!)
  4. Hi - new to this. I have a CGC Yellow Stan Lee Signature Series Label on one of my books. I want to submit that book to have other signatures added to it, Can I still pay to get the Stan Lee Label put back on the book after the additional signature(s)? I am guessing the answer is probably no (because this went through Stan Lee Collectibles, but that doesn't seem fair. I had a standard yellow SS label on a book with other peoples signatures, and then had Stan sign it, I was able to get the Stan Lee yellow label - seems this should be allowed to be done in the opposite order??? It isn't like I am asking to have a Stan Lee Yellow Label added to something that didn't already have it - To me, therein lies the difference! (and I would gladly PAY to have it put back on too!) example: Signed by Steve Englehart, got standard yellow SS label, and then had Stan Lee sign it, and got the Stan Lee SS yellow label. But what if I want to get more signatures added to the book???
  5. I found his email, and contacted him directly last year. He was very nice, and basically said that it was not likely that he would be attending any shows to do signings anytime in the near future...
  6. Hey Everyone! I am wondering if anyone has heard anything about Peter Laird doing any signing events (that could be CGC Witnessed) in 2019? I know he does not do many signing events any more. And regretfully, I found out about the 2018 Super Megafest Comic-con event just DAYS before it happened. I couldn't get off work and from MD to MA in time. So - I am still in need of the elusive Peter Laird autograph for my TMNT 1! Anything anyone hears about would be greatly appreciated!!!!!!
  7. Hello, I am going to attend the Wizard World New Orleans Con to get Stan Lee to sign several books. I have already purchased the Stan Lee VIP package, but still need to add more signatures to the order. The package comes with 1 signature, and I am going to want 4-5 signatures total. I had hoped to wait until I was at the Con to add the other signatures, but do they either limit you to how many you can purchase or do they "run out" of signatures for the day (he is only attending on Saturday Jan. 6th. I have heard that there are many restrictions when it comes to Stan Lee, I wondered if you could answer some questions so that I am prepared, and not caught off guard. Please understand that I am not a dealer, I don't even buy new comics- nor have I attended many cons (I just have several nice comics I would really like him to sign while he is still around) So the "rules" that come with meeting/getting some of the high profile artists to do signings are confusing to me. Such as - I have heard that you can not speak to Stan Lee; you can not touch Stan Lee (meaning shake his hand), etc. Are these statements true? I get not touching him - he is 94 years old. But not speaking to him??? Are there other restrictions that I should be aware of? Most importantly to me is in regards to his actually signing books: I have seen many people at Cons have their books bagged and boarded, but with windows cut out. Either to protect the books edges from damage or to show specifically where they would like an artist to sign a book. Are either of these scenarios permitted with Stan Lee signing books? I am sure I have other questions, but answers to these would be a big help. Any insight you can provide would be greatly appreciated!!!! Thank you Ron
  8. Hello - first time chat board person, so please bear with me. I am planning to attend Wizard World New Orleans in January. Specifically to see Stan Lee and get his autograph on several books. I understand there are many restrictions in regards to Stan Lee (do not touch him, do not talk to him, etc) I have this overwhelming desire to set a timer for every 15 min. while I am waiting in line to meet him - and yell "Excelsior"!!!! I was wondering if anyone had any info/insight/suggestions to offer in regards to meeting "The Man"?
