  1. Came back 9.0 Did not clean and press, Notes: Grader Notes:light spine stress lines to cover light, multiple finger bends top of front cover
  2. I'm sure it's somewhere in the 278 pages here but I searched and couldn't find it! For those more on a budget...the Roy Thomas Presents slipcases are great for filling that Planet sized void! All issues collected into 14 volumes!
  3. Not sure how much those staple color ticks are going to hurt...
  4. The board is DC, with 1990 markings on the edges in blue.
  5. As a quick update, I sent the Howdy Doody in for consignment to MCS and their graders gave it a 3.0.... they have this as a 6.5 so something is seriously questionable. Note they didn't mention anything incomplete/torn/missing/damaged on the interior or spine. Anyone had a similar experience?
  6. Good to know, obviously I'm a little newer to grading so I try to stick to the book as much as I can. As I see more actual graded items I think I'll be able to pick up the small differentiating details. For all that though, I do love this cover!
  7. I would put it at a 2.0, I don't think the missing triangle on the back would allow it to bump any higher. It looks to be around a 1/2" which is the largest allowed missing for a 2.0.
  8. Fair, oldest I've sent in for grading has been 1966 - not sure if there is any contextual grading for it's age or it should be judged the same as all moderns.
  9. Howdy Doody #1 Jan 1950 Additional info, pages and centerfold are tightly bound, no missing interior pages / tears. Pages are not brittle. Cheers!
  10. Shocked that the grade came in this high, pressing really did help it out.
  11. 1986 Deadman #4 - Circle of Fire pg 16 This came as a surprise when I got a lot of 9 Alf#13 original pages. It was just thrown in there by the seller.
  12. You're right, it has some creasing and bends that don't break color lines. I'm actually sending it in to get pressed and graded (first time sending something in for grading). I'll post back here once it comes back!
  13. PGM Star Trek 1 No other internal issues. Before Pressing After Pressing Spoiler - graded (sorry about the angle couldn't get a non glare without me in it)
  14. PGM: Star Wars #1 No other internal defects. Thanks!
