As a relatively new acquirer of a copy I’ve heard rumour of fakes though was lead to believe they’re completely black with no residual foil. Does that seem correct from what you saw? Researching the subject provides very little information.

Hi all, The book looks in great shape overall though I notice a couple of cover issues. I’d really appreciate your learned grading opinions for this beaut that arrived today please. Thanks! P.S. I’m still in disbelief this is in my hands as the seller appeared unaware of the significance which was sold (and priced) as a regular copy, are there any tell tale signs this could be a fake?

My 2009 CGC graded ASM 300 Rocky Mountain doesn’t have its pedigree stated on the label. Would the pedigree be indicated on the new label if I were to get the book reholdered? Thanks in advance

As a child in the mid 80's, The Punisher was always my favourite Marvel character, different from others as he was the cool anti-hero without the special powers of others. My tastes have changed as I grew older but there's always a place in my heart for Frank that takes me back to those fond memories of excitedly picking up a copy from my local newsagent every month. The reason why I just had to get his first appearance, for the sake of nostalgia. Anyway, this is my humble addition to the club that I was very lucky to purchase a little while ago before prices went sky-high.
