GREAT NEWS!! I reached a deal with a new courier that allows me to offer shipping to U.S. via air for only $10!! It's fully traceable and packages will be delivered maximum in two weeks. I'm afraid that Canadian and European shipping rates are still the same. On the other hand, the books of the first shipment already arrived to US and they'll be reshipped via Media Mail very soon. European and Canadian shipments already left Spain. -

Update on 'SKY MASTERS SUNDAYS IN COLOR ENGLISH EDITION' which contains a large section of original art: The book is RESOLICITED, so previous orders are CANCELED, I apologize for any inconvenience. It'll be included in the JUNE Previews catalog and it'll hit the stores in AUGUST, this time with no delays since it's already printed. But you don't need to wait, since you can order it NOW from me, and you'll received it in a couple of weeks. Postage to USA from Spain is just $20 thanks to the collaboration of the Kirby Museum. A cheaper option of shipping it now from Spain to US and Canada is via boat. It'd cost $10, and it'd take about two months to arrive, non traceable. It'd arrive circa mid-june, two months before the official release date. More details and instructions how to order here: https://ferrandelgado.blogspot.com.es/2018/04/sky-masters-in-color-english-edition.html Unboxing video here (poor quality): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EOEPpTzgGnE PROMOTIONAL COPY:

This is an unique opportunity to purchase a complete book of 28 pages!! Starting bid: $2995!! https://www.ebay.com/itm/263279220664?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1558.l2649 Each page has the penciled board, the inked board and sometimes, an alternative shot, so they're almost 60 boards of stunning art without lettering. This book features the first appearance of Vulcan, the third Summers brother, so it might be a great investment. Only $50 each board!! This comic was made in an unique way: –Trevor Hairsine did the layouts in an A4 sheet (8' x 11'). –Then he scanned them and printed them in blue in a 11' x 17' sheet. –He did tight pencils in grey on the printed image. –He scanned the tight pencils and digitally removed the blue lines. –He sent them to Kris Justice, who printed them in blue in 11' x 17' sheets. –Justice inked on these boards. I boosted the blue lines for you to see the changes made during the creative process. What you get is the penciled 11'x17' board and the inked board. No layouts of 11' x 8' sheets or the cover included. You can see all the boards in my gallery of Comicartfans: http://www.comicartfans.com/galleryroom.asp?gsub=34465&page=1&order=Date

X-Men #135 Original Art by Byrne and Austin
FerranDelgado replied to Brian Peck's topic in Original Comic Art
It's curious because this scene was not in the original plot of the Dark Phoenix Saga. It was added when Salicrup and/or Shooter decided to expand the original plot of #134 (still to be added the Dazzler issue) in two issues and they needed to stretch the story. Below is part of the list with the plans for the series. At this point, Phoenix died at the end of #134. Later this issue was split in two. and then, Salicrup decided to delay the ending to a special issue. The plots were done way in advance, while Stern was still the editor of the series. This is unknown in USA. -
Marvel sent overseas an image that shows an early stage of the Vision (left), I don't know if this helps since I can't see the image of the cover auctioned.

Photocopies of original pencil art
FerranDelgado replied to Dogsupreme's topic in Original Comic Art
I think that photocopies has interest, indeed, but its value will depend on the artist. It's not the same Greg LaRoque than Ron Frenz, for example, with all my respect for both artists. If you're going to auction them, I'd suggest to make packs with issues or artists, rather than a mix. Since it looks like it's stuff inked by Sam De la Rosa, maybe this list of his work will help you: http://www.comicbookdb.com/creator.php?ID=4613 -
HA/ComicLink Auctions - Interesting Correlation
FerranDelgado replied to Messier3499's topic in Original Comic Art
I suppose that the Kirby Estate claim relates only to the Silver Age art not returned by Marvel in the 80s. There's an inventory of the art returned, so this would affect to what's not in the list. The 70s art was returned to Kirby a few months after it was published, since Marvel already had a return policy active back then. The art of this age wouldn't be included in the claim. This is a sample of the inventory: http://ohdannyboy.blogspot.com.es/2013/01/original-art-stories-jack-kirbys.html -

Alex, It's from the british fanzine 'Arken Sword' #26, which included an interview with Terry Austin & Mark Farmer. You can read it here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0Bz-VsUjOG2SibjY4aXg4QkJVU0E/view -
Sample of DD #191 pencils by Miller Hi, I just found in a british fanzine a nice sample of DD #191 pencils along Austin's inks that allow to solve any doubts if the issue was laid out or fully penciled.
