  1. Batman 251. Look at Joker’s left hip. Classic cover or not, WTH was Neal Adams thinking?
  2. Looks like it's already been pressed. Maybe not cleaned though.
  3. I already tried this. She's still here.
  4. This is what I use, but I prefer the smaller E-333 mainly because because it's easier to "strategically" position them in certain places in my safe. They're also not as unwieldy to plug into the wall for recharging. The design looks like it's been updated so this may not be an issue any more.
  5. Not a Miller cover, but this issue of Comics Journal has a ton of Miller DD content.
  6. Yep. Great books if you can find them in decent shape. CJ #58 is actually the first appearance of Elektra (on the cover).
  7. In addition to the health issues, the 9/11 attacks traumatized him as well. By his own admissions, this changed his perspective on a lot of things.
  8. Beautiful copy. I loved the Marvel monster books from the early '70s. The "20 cents" era of Marvel was the period I first started reading Marvels and I loved virtually everything that Marvel put out. Spidey, FF, Avengers, Cap, all of it including the non-superhero titles. WMD was a particular favorite of mine. Didn't care if they were reprints for the most part, the stories were just plain cool to this kid.
  9. Nice job on the costume. And I never would have thunk it, but Michael Madsen makes an excellent Harvey Bullock.
  10. With that many boxes, I'd worry a lot more than just shipping cost. Unless I'm straight on the other side of the country, I'd drive it myself.
  11. Looks about as normal as it gets. Very similar to what's on my copy of BB 85.
  12. Same here only it was back in ‘83 for me. Hung onto my sports cards a little longer, but sold them off as well in the early’’90s. Wish I held onto both.
  13. Seriously speaking, I re-watched the trailer again and am a little disappointed they might have dived too deep into the mystical side with this movie. As a big fan of the early Paul Gulacy run, I was hoping they'd have a more grounded and "James Bond" feel to the story like in those early, iconic issues from the '70s.
  14. Very lukewarm trailer to me. Not sure what I was expecting, but at least hollywood didn't cast Tom Cruise in the role.
  15. Vampire Tales #2 (personal favorite not previously mentioned).
  16. Cards We Grade | Sports Card Grading | CSG (csgcards.com) If this card is lumped in with all the other Star cards, then no.
  17. It's my understanding that cardsavers are always preferred because all the grader needs to do is cut the plastic open to safely get at the card. If you use a top loader, he/she will need to tap the holder to get the card out. If the card gets damaged during this process, it's on you, not the grader.
  18. I had already gotten out of comics by '86, but I knew this tone in comics was coming. Was a very big DD fan back then and when Miller left the title, I pretty much lost interest in the hobby overall.
  19. Really impressed that this is one of those books, despite the huge populations, is still in such high demand today. Convinced at this point it'll never go down.
  20. Hot, but nah. Some assets are still missing. In any case, I would bet that if they did proceed with a Vampi project, the portrayal will be a lot more like what they did with Satana in Hellstrom and look nothing like the source material. You will more likely to see a full XXX version of Druuna before you see a classic representation of Vampi.
