Trading for my upgrade didn't happen but this popped up and I pulled the trigger because it's beautiful! My 3rd copy of Showcase 22, I've upgraded from a 3.0 to a 4.0 and now hopefully my final copy a CGC 5.0 w/ OW/W pages! My CGC 4.0 OW pages is available if anyone is interested hahaha

Definitely forgot to post results! It came back a 4.0 CR/OW Best case scenario based on everyone's predictions!

This will be a long shot but since I'm here, if anyone has a CGC 5.0 - 6.0 with OW+ pages and would like to trade down to a CGC 4.0 OW (as seen in picture) + other CGC keys (Hulk 181, GSX1, etc)...shoot me a message!

When I started collecting, I never thought I'd own such an amazing piece of comic book history. It's a loooooow grade but it's mine and I am so happy to be a part of this club. Grail book achieved!

This just happens to be the weekend I'm covering for a co-worker for a 530pm-530am shift on Saturday and Sunday at Schriever AFB. I'm going to try to get a few hours of sleep Sunday morning and drive up to Denver before having to come back down for work, going to be rough but hopefully worth it!

Back from the CGC, so many responses between 7.5 and 9.0 and the winner is....8.0 with white pages! I believe the scratch in the title and the little puncture are what brought the grade down. Wish I had subbed under my account to see the grading notes, regardless it looks amazing! Good job everyone that got it right! I appreciate everyone's time!

I figure now is as good a time as any to pick up a BB28, got myself a 3.0 OW for a little under the $2k mark. Still an iconic cover and a dream key for any DC fan!

Only picked up the Jock virgin monochrome variant from Forbidden Planet/Jetpack Comics, decent price and would look damn good in a slab. Not a fan of any of the other variant releases...

Big upgrade for my favorite Grail! Went from a 3.0 Cr/OW to this 4.0 OW copy! Should have this beauty waiting for me when I get back to Colorado this weekend. Also, Joe Giella is going to be at Denver Comic Con this year and I might have a few of my silver age GL keys, including this SC22, signed on the1st page before getting reslabbed. Worth risking the page quality and grade to break this open for a yellow label? Other candidate is a 7.0 Green Lantern #7.

Wow, thanks for all the opinions guys (& gals)! Guess we'll find out in a few weeks when I report back, just shipped to CGC for standard grading today! If it grades out above a 3.0 then I got my money's worth

Just got my first EC comic, Crime Suspenstories #24, really beat up but I absolutely love some of these old horror covers. I found this for $30 and couldn't resist!

Should be coming in the mail in a few days, figured I'd see what everyone thought of this copy of ASM #129 I just picked up. Thanks!

Back from CGC today! 5.0 OW/W "Tape on Interior Cover" Doesn't matter, one of my favorite comics in my PC!

Pretty close on this one, love the grade but a little disappointed with page color/quality. I got this book for under $80 so I think I got a great deal at this grade. CGC 6.5 Cream/Off - White pages

Grade is in! Like the Hawkman #4, everyone nailed it on this one. Looks really good after the press! CGC 4.5 Off White pages! Thrilled to have this comic back in my PC!
