Overhang Crease From Inner Well

I was thinking about getting the bend pressed. Do you have any recommendations for pressers experienced with correcting this issue? -

You can see the bend along the bottom of the book in person. The bends do not exist at the corners where there is more space. -

CGC Slab Small Triangular Markings
finalfan7asy replied to finalfan7asy's topic in Comic Book Grading and Restoration Issues
I was unsure if these triangular looking markings were common and caused by any of CGC’s equipment during encapsulation. I’m probably better off keeping the book in its current slab. It has frail edges and I would hate to lose any pieces if they had to replace the inner well too. If they’re debris, they seem to be outside the well and don’t move. I appreciate all the help! -

Thank you for the information. I was unaware that they were having quality concerns with debris in their slabs. -
CGC Slab Small Triangular Markings
finalfan7asy replied to finalfan7asy's topic in Comic Book Grading and Restoration Issues
The book was slabbed about 2 months ago. Some of the triangles are more prominent than others. They almost look like blemishes in the plastic since they’re all similar in shape and the way light reflects off of them. I’m not able to get any of them to move either. -
Has anyone noticed small triangular-shaped markings inside their CGC slabs? At first, I thought they were plastic flakes trapped inside, but there are at least a dozen, some of which are clustered together. My inner well is slightly loose and the markings do not move along with it. I'm assuming they're on the inner part of the slab itself. Some are more obvious than others due to their location. Any thoughts?

I’ve come across several X-Men Annual #1s that appear to have similar ink transfer or smudging markings on the back cover. Is this common with some runs? Does it appear to be from the printing process or color transfer from books sticking together?

If it makes any difference to you there are thousands of Universal graded (higher grade too) X-Men #266 out there. Your Strange Adventure #205 not so much. -

According to gocollect’s website, FMV for X-Men #266 (CGC 9.4) is $160 and Silver Surfer #3 (CGC 2.5) is $110. Your Strange Adventures #205 is “valued” at $210. However, if you’re solely after Gambit’s first full appearance, you should be able to find a CGC 9.6 for under $200. Go with what you would value the most. -
