  1. its not to sell its for me to keep, the ditko letter would also be for me to keep even though the letters value would be a good investment i mean i dont think i've ever seen ditko, lee signatures on one thing before
  2. thanks for the responses i do have other ASM keys which would be cool signed like issue 5, and 14 (first green goblin) but i want something signed for me, not to ever sell just to have always for me. anyways i got this beauty signed last year at megacon, it is my only SS Stan sig book and i'm ok with just the one,
  3. i recently met stan for the first time in Megacon 2017 Orlando and thought he would never come back to florida yet he is making a final florida appearance to support hurricane Irma funds i bought a special package that entitles me to a Q&A, selfie, and private signing with Stan with one autograph, but i need help on what i should get him to sign, should i get him to sign A. a 16x24 photo of me and stan as a photo op and since its a private signing probabley ask him to write something extra like "excelsior!" B. a Steve Ditko signed letter i received many years ago where he sent me a dedicated letter, (i do feel that stan might ruin the letter) (p.s this is for my persanal collection and even though i know the photo op wont be worth anything it will be worth soemthing for me.)
  4. i agree on the splash page is a much better place to get signed and i would but he was signing so fast there were not any time to get him to switch to a pen and signed inside and the risk of him opening the book and creasing the spine with a lower grade copy while he signs... and it looks horrible when he signed the splash page in sharpie, yuk! cool sigs though
  5. i guess i agree the book is for my private collection not looking to sell it but i see what your talking about though i agree that some day there will be a premium on unsigned books it depends really what book the sig is on according to cgc census there is only 140 signed ASM 3 and over 1400 non signed also stan is 94 and has already been set to make final conventions apperances which means hes not gonna sign a million more items and once hes gone no more can be signed. and though i see what your saying with its just a name in sharpie its not just a name its stan lee "the creator of spider-mans" name. (co-creator steve ditko)
  6. Personally I don't think your sig is bad at all it is legebal and that's the important part I mean the first e in lee is a bit blocked out but it is still noticeable and nothing beats a good ol jack Kirby sig cool book
  7. I got this signed back in megaton Orlando last year and had a great time experience and though I am glad with how the comic came out But I would of preferred a thinner signature would you say that the signature defects the book or makes it a better worth thanks
  8. something very close like that happened to me once though, this is a true story: around 2-3 years ago i traveled to San Francisco for vacation, while there i passed by this shop that sold Geek things, in the store i bought a harry potter chocolate frog like form the movies. in the frog it came with a card of a famous harry potter professor, i got professor mcgonigal (i'm pretty sure i misspelled that) who is played by Maggie Smith. we were on vacation so i put the card into my backpack and forgot about it. that night we went to eat dinner at this fancy restaurant. anyway i was put to sit down and guess who was two tables in froth of me, Maggie Smith! through out the entire meal i was to embarrassed to go up to her, and i was afraid if i took a picture with my phone some guy would think i was stalking her or something (stupid, i know.) i leave the restaurant and never talked to her though i did pass by her and smile, (she smiled back!)
  9. i agree sometimes the celebrities don't care though and to "act" like they do care they sign for a few people and go, or maybe its something with todays age, like come on, i have never seen a bad looking signature from the 50s back but starting at around the late 60s the signatures just looked hideous i don't know
  10. Completely agree we are the reason they are famous so at least put some effort in their signatures it's the least they can do
  11. the psa/dna stickers were probably fake too on his other stuff, i mean i could of been worse he charged me only like 60 dollars all together
  12. got this book a while back, it is the last appearance of the Claw until issue 6 which is DareDevil's first appearance. not to mention the Claw was Daredevil's worst enemy, the book is coverless and the first and last pages are detached it is complete though, i know it is a .3 at most but how much do you think its worth? thank you
