  1. Hey guys, I am moving soon and finally am getting a whole room dedicated to my comic collection! The only thing is I really don't know how to display them since my current house I only received a small space for my comics, I know it should be my design and what I like but maybe you guys have some suggestions so does anyone know what would look nice
  2. No, I mean 7, yes red skull made an appearance in cap 3 and even got the cover but in cap 3 it is revealed That the red skull which appeared in cap 1 and 3 was really maxon and Schmidt is not actually reveled to be the real red skull until cap 7
  3. hey now first let me say i know this question is over 4 years old but i just need to answer it because no one here has answered this simple question correctly heres the simple answer, do you consider Captain America 1 to be the Red Skull's first appearance if you do then you consider TOS 65 to be his first SA appearance, now if you consider Captain America 7 to be Red Skull's first appearance then TOS 65 would be considered as his first SA appearance too, because Red Skull first appears as Maxon in Cap 1 and because people consider this to be his first then why should TOS 65 not be considered his first SA too, since both first appear as Maxon. if you want to consider ‎Johann Shmidt to be the true Red Skull (Which he is) then his first appearance as the red skull is in Cap 7 not in Cap 1 which means for those who considers Cap 7 Red skull's first appearance which i dont think many do than TOS 66 would be his true first SA appearance. as for Captain America making an earlier SA appearance which predates Avengers 4, here is why that book is not considered his first SA app. because Steve rogers is the original Cap in Cap 1 it was Steve Rogers who was behind the mask not this other guy so the first Steve Rogers Cap in the SA is avengers 4, but unlike this Red Skull first appeared as Maxon and later appeared as Shmidt which is the same thing in TOS,he first appears as Maxon in 65 and then as Shmidt in 66. Nuff' Said

  5. There we go the title makes more sense now
  6. exactly!!! unless the guy aimed on getting the worst Stan Lee sig ever and put a box around Spidey's face
  7. Hey guys so i just wanted to start out by saying I don't HATE Stan lee signature and I'd be a hypocrite to say I don't like th because I have met him myself and had a few books signed by him in the past and have been happy with the results but seriously guys understand he's 95 and has admitted his eye sight is not the best throw in the fact that people throw thousands of books at him a day does not help and with that being said I will say I don't think it's stan's fault and actually the people who expect him to do so much at his age fault. Anyways let me get to my point, I love going on eBay and just checking out books signed by him seeing some (most) that I can't stand to see and a few which I find look nice with his signature on them. i have gathered some of the worst stan sigs starting from bad to generally heart stopping and not ina good way. Now with all this being said let me start, 1. I'm going to start out with some light ones, these are not bad but why would anyone want these books to be signed in these colors! They don't look good, not to mention that I would never have stan sign a hulk 181but oh well 2. Next are once again not horrible but these made me cringe because these people were expecting to get $10,000 for the TOS 39 with no certification at all not even stan's certificate, 3. Now it's starts getting bad, stan is infamous for signing on comic cover charchters faces and these are just bad... but wait until the final one... 1. It's a bad picture but... what can be seen talks for itself ? 2. Luckily this is on a reprint but it's not pleasant either also once again I've never been a fan of getting stan to sign a book like this where he did not write edit or do anything about it 3. The next three will slowly get worse... this one is luckily a reprint but still... at least not on the face though 4. Yikes!!! On the face!! A reprint though so not Horrible 5. ?????? these emojis talk for themselves on my feelings for his monstrosity... ps if you couldn't tell this is NOT a reprint and it's is an ASM 1 9.4 6. I don't get this... And the final two are puke worthy so get out your puke bags out... 7. Wow... just wow... (this is in a bad way) 8. Here it goes this book gets the crown of being the very worse stan lee signature to ever face the planet... I can't imagine the guys face when he saw his book be grabbed by Stan and fatally killed... and thats it it for some of the worse stan sigs ever. In conclusion stop getting him to ruin books it's not worth it at this point maybe 10 years ago it would of beeen but today no... i persanly prefer him signing on the first page show us any that you guys find I would love to see more anyways let's just bring out the fact that not every book he signs comes out bad and some actually look nice for example these two hopefully these calm your nerves a little... Sorry for the ft 5 on the list again it does not let me delete it... just ignore it
  8. I was about to go $2800 for the 34 but passed at the last second very happy for you it was a good deal even if restored, and no matter what people say about 34 and because it’s a sucky cover I disagree I love it, the story is actually nice and love that splash page and to be quite honest it’s not a bad cover even if Batman’s not on it, great buy
  9. i have seen a few on ebay but even coverless a hulk 1 can go for as much as $1000, though i do recall a really beat up copy missing the first two wraps and cover selling for about $300 a few years ago, best of luck on that

  15. i just wanted to know if there were any perfect golden age books, that is all but really are there anything "PERFECT" don't make this controversial the final answer is NO! a CGC 10 is not perfect, its just better than a 9.9 (HOW) idk ask CGC that

  19. I mean it did start at $10 and he did say in vey little captions under the main description “reprint” so I actually think he has no idea on comcis and when he relized it had gotten to $800 he was surprised And wanted the money so he refused a refund I guess that’s my theory
  20. Here’s my skippy run ? all I need is 4 and 12 and I complete the 2-20 run sorry for spaming this thread with so many pics also sorry for the messy pics they are not in order by number but there all there
  21. i mean i guess the only way a 10 is given is if it literally PERFECT like if it was out of the printing press and into CGC for grading, though i agree that it is impossible in my mind that any book can be a 10 there must be at least a extremley minor amount of damage from going out of the printer being stapled being shipped out to the comic shops being paced on the comic racks then someone buying it someone taking it home putting it in a box shipping it to CGC a CGC grader taking it out and grading it encapsulating it, impossible that no damage happens from all of that as for your question i guess what makes the difference is a 10 is literally 100% flawless perfect and a 9.9 could be 99.99% flawless
