He marked it sold here, because it sold away. He didn't want to sell it twice. (shrug)

Yes, I sold it on eBay and just wrote “sold” on the thread title here. I didn’t know it would be a big deal. Obviously that’s on me for not knowing the rules of the forum. The books are sold now and this thread can be closed. Hopefully they will STAY sold this time lol

It is against the rules to have books for sale here and eBay.

You really need to read the rules before posting here.   You should especially check out the return policy part.

Also......Didn’t this also sell here for considerably less yesterday?

Yeah I messed up and listed it here and on eBay. It sold on eBay yesterday morning but the buyer backed out and requested a refund late last night. So I’m having to deal with that headache right now. I decided to relist the lot here again and won’t be using eBay in the future -_-

  3. It did sell yesterday on eBay and the buyer backed out and wanted a refund before I sent it off. It’s been a huge pain in the butt. Now I’m having to fight with PayPal to get my fee back for something I never even shipped. I’ll never sell on eBay again.

The books are still for sale for anyone interested.

  4. Sold

x2 Fantastic Four #48 (One copy is CGC slab graded at 2.5 and the other is raw but appears to me as a solid 4.0-5.0 book.) *Note: The raw #48 was manufactured with only the bottom staple. Pics will be provided below)

x2 Fantastic Four #49 (Both raw copies that appear to be 3.5-4.0 books, one looks better than the other based on the front cover.)

Fantastic Four #50 (Raw copy that looks like a 2.0-2.5 grade copy but still nice to complete the trilogy.)

Im looking for $2500 for the whole lot shipped. Paypal only for payment, the first claim gets it. The books are sold as is, US shipping only.  I will entertain trade offers I’m looking for a lower grade FF #5 but any first appearances would be considered. DM me for any other info, thanks for looking!

Best answer? None of them. Buying comics to "invest"...especially anything printed after about 1975, with very few exceptions...is a very bad idea, especially when the book in question is currently "hot."

If you want to "invest" in comics, buy Gold and Silver Age keys in the best shape you can afford.

All that said, the variant is likely the "hardest" one to find, and probably has the most upside, given current sales.

Yeah, I’ve invested in multiple key Silver and Bronze Age books. This is just a book that I can see being valuable as the years go by. Especially if he makes a MCU appearance. He’s got a LOT of potential to become the marvel Superman.

  7. Hey Guys,

Im planning on buying a 9.8 Sentry #1 do any of you have any idea which cover would be the best to “invest” in?

    -Normal version

    -Variant version

    -San Diego comic-con version

I’m new to the modern books collecting and I just want to see what you all think about this!

  8. Want to give a Kudos to the Bunky Brothers (Bunky Brian) he's a great seller and works with you to make the sale as easy as possible. Definitely recommended.  (Also packages and ships very well protected)

  9. Hi everyone,

My name is Landon and I'm 27 years old, owning a AF15 has been a real dream/goal of mine for a LONG time. I've been a huge SM fan my whole life. This was the perfect copy for me and I love it so much!

I want to thank the seller Bunky Brian, he helped me out a lot and was very informative and patient.

Glad to be in the club.

Was it a $7,500 book?  I bet you the process isn't as quickly expedited when somebody is going to be out $7,500

    Jim

No Jim, it wasn't that expensive but I'd imagine EBay would probably want to make a quick solutions to something that expensive.

    atleast I'd hope so. ?

    miss-the-point.png

How did I miss the point? You said that eBay will side with them because they show tracking, box weight, etc. and that plays no factor into deciding wether or not a seller sent the WRONG item. If the item received is NOT the same one pictured and discribed in the description notes then eBay will issue a refund to the buyer...

One time I had a guy send me a book that was ripped and wasn't shown in the book pic or discription but eBay jumped right on it and issued the refund and I sent the book back to the seller. It was actually quite simple and took very little time. So I don't know we're you're getting all your time table information ?

Haha and this is why scammers do it.  I'd rather not spend a month fighting with eBay (when they sent a box with a $10 cgc slab) saying it was the wrong book and when ebay sides with them cause they show tracking, signature and USPS shows that the box weights and dimensions line up.  Then you go to your CC and spend another month fighting with them trying to prove a case that they sent you a junk book and not the book worth the 4 figures they were supposed to.  Finally after 2 months and several phone calls of yelling and screaming your CC refunds you and ebay locks you out of your account.

Ya I'd like to play that game too  why don't you just send me $7500 and after 2 months I'll return it.

In my experiences if the item you bought arrives and doesn't match the pics and description then eBay waste little time in getting a refund of your money.

Ive never heard of anyone getting away with sending a completely wrong item. ?
