  1. Damn.... I wish I knew about this earlier
  2. Here's my appreciation post! The two raw copies will be sent off to be signed by Todd and David soon! Super excited to see what they come back as!
  3. Unfortunately not... There is actually an 8-Cover copy of this book signed by Stan Lee graded a 9.9, but it has never been up for sale.
  4. Starting November 15th, my 6-Cover ASM 361 will be up for auction in ComicLinks Fall Featured Auction! This book is a 1 of 2, making it extremely rare! Please check out the link below to view the item! http://comiclink.com/auctions/item.asp?back=%2FAUCTIONS%2FPREVIEW.ASP%3F_SORT%3DYES%26code%3D2017nov%26f1%3Di.Condition%26ODire1%3DDESC%26f2%3Di.Type%2C%2Bi.Title%2C%2Bi.IssueNumber%26ODire2%3DASC%26f3%3Di.Condition%26ODire3%3DDESC%23Item_1203869&id=1203869&itemType=0
  5. Holy moly. Did you end up selling this? If so, how much did you get for it if you dont mind me asking?
  6. Thanks man! The gentleman I bought it from was in his late 40s/early 50s. He was getting ready to move at the time and said he was going through the boxes in his basement when he found his comics. He said he has no use for them anymore and could use the money to help with the move. I'm pretty sure he just looked up the price of a raw copy at that time, and they were going for around 70-100, and he may have not known that multiple covers draw more. I didn't believe it was genuine at first, and that's why I had it graded, so I would know for sure. It would seem like a waste though to remove the cover off 5 ASM361s and place them onto another book just for $100, he could have easily sold all 6 books individually for $100 each.
  7. I would tend to agree, but as someone else point out, it's got a lot going on for it. It's not just a currently hot key 1st appearance, it's not JUST a 9.9, and it's not JUST a multiple cover. It's a SIX COVER, 9.9 currently hot key 1st appearance. 6 covers??? I mean, holy carp. I'd think your estimate should be right on, but something this freaky deaky, bidding might get wild. Yea, I was super amazed at how much that 9.9 went for. It's insane. I know Carnage doesnt have the hype that Deadpool has, but I also think the Deadpool hype has died down a bit since the first movie came out. I think it will go for high 4 figures, but the rarity of it may push it over that 5 figure mark.
  8. Yes, I remember checking the census before I submitted it and there was only 1 9.9 and it was Sig Series. I was a little sad when I found out another 9.9 blue label had been graded, but I bet its not 6 covered
  9. I really believe this could pull in a few thousand, maybe even reach 5 figures? I mean it covers a lot of desirable fields. Its a 9.9 (rare) It has 6 covers (even more rare) Its a Spiderman book Its the first appearance of Carnage Its a 1 of 1 as of now. There hasnt been a book like this for sale recently, and with the Venom movie type train, it could draw a lot if attention.
  10. Yes sir, that is the one. I'm definitely going to take a chunk of the sale amount and give it to the gentleman that I purchased it from.
  11. I believe they take the highest cover instead of the first or the average, because you could technically remove the two outer covers and be left with a 9.9 covered book.
  12. UPDATE: Hey all, this book was sent off to ComicLink and was listed in their Fall Featured Auction that ended on November 29th. The winning bid was $8,600! A monumental sale for a modern book, and one holy grail was added to someones collection! Hey CGC Forum! Here I present my SEXTUPLE COVER CGC 9.9 Amazing Spiderman #361!!!! Fresh back from CGC! Truly a 1 of a kind. MINTY fresh with WHITE pages! This is currently the only Graded 9.9 Blue Label on the CGC Census (there is a 9.9 8-cover signed by Stan). ➖ My heart is still racing. I am stuck trying to finds words to describe the feeling. I am truly blessed. Huge shoutout to CGC for their amazing pressing and grading teams! ➖ This will most likely get sent to Comic Link to be auctioned off in their Fall Featured Auction in November!
  13. Unfortunately I didnt take any pictures of the inside staples. I was too excited and nervous and didn't even think about it. I did check them though and they didn't look suspicious at all. It has already been sent to CGC so we will see what they say in a few days!
  14. Yea CGC will tell me if its real or not. And yes I did pay $100 for it. Even if it turna out the top 5 covers were added and they remove them, I would still profit a little off a 9.6/9.8!
  15. I feel like it would be very tedious to go through all that for only $100. I feel like if you owned 6 copies, you wouldnt ruin 5 of them to only make $100.
  16. Some of you may have seen this already in a Facebook group, but I recently picked up a 6 cover Amazing Spider-Man #361!! I believe this may be the second highest misprinted cover? I know there is a 9.9 copy that has 8 covers and is signed by Stan Lee. Does anybody else know of another copy? Why settle for 1 cover, WHEN YOU CAN HAVE 6!!!!! This HAS to be a 1 of 1! This book is in beautiful NM condition as well! The outside cover looks like a 9.4/9.6 as it has one hairline spine tick and a possible smudge by the top staple.. This book was sent to CGC on Tuesday, so it'll be just over a month until I get it back! I am still in disbelief. This is my greatest find EVER!!!! BACKSTORY: I was just waiting for my coffee monday morning when I decided to browse the Facebook Marketplace. I discovered this "Misprinted Spiderman Book" 10 minutes after it was posted. I immediately messaged the seller claiming it. From the sellers pictures, it looked like it had 5 covers, but come to find out THIS THING HAS 6!!!!! The seller said he is the original owner and bought this back in 1992, and its only been out of the bag 3 times!!
  17. Yea, the water damage and the front cover is definitely a downfall for this. Especially with the water damage hitting the Stan Lee sig. A professional might be able to rebind the book, and attach it a little better so it wont feel like its going to tear off if you open it hard. But I agree that a certain person has to come along to want something like this. I talked to him again today and he said he really doesn't want to sell it, but he has another book with even more sigs in it, and he doesnt need two. He threw a number of $600 at me, which I think is possibly a fair price, asking me how I felt about it. I definitely can see at least $600 worth of sigs in here though.
  18. Yea, valuing this is way different than a signed comic. You're not really buying this book for the content, you're buying it for the amount of signatures from legendary artists. This is more of a hardcore collectors piece, something that is one of a kind. Im not sure if you could calculate the value by how much each artist charges per sig, or if that would even be accurate.
  19. Hey all! I'm not quite sure if this post belongs here or not, but I couldn't really find a thread that it fell under. Anyways, a fellow collector friend of mine was thinking about selling his "Marvel -- The Characters and Their Universe" HC book that he's been collecting signatures in for 13 years. He has over 150 signatures and remarks, from artists such as Stan Lee, Jim Lee, Jae Lee, Herb Trimpe, Dіck Ayers, Joe Kubert, Frank Miller, Larry Hama, John Romita Sr, J Scott Campbell, George Perez, Dave Cockrum, and Joe Sinnott to name a few. The book itself is in pretty beat up shape. There is some water damage along the bottom, and the spine definitely has some issues, but overall this book is still an amazing piece. I'm just not sure how someone would go about pricing this. If anybody would be able to give their opinions and thoughts it would be greatly appreciated!
  20. Thanks man! I was really doubtful when I sent it out that it would come back as a 9.2 or 9.4. Idk why I thought that, but I just figured my luck. This is my first Stan Lee sig, and probably last. I would really like to get a nice high grade Silver Surfer #4 signed by him though. But anyways, I actually send a printout like this along with my book to show where I wanted it signed. They actually came pretty close to it and I think they are nice and visible.
  21. I don't know how active this thread is, but I just happened to stumble upon it. I got this baby as a 9.6 early spring of 2016. I sent it out last September to NY Comics to get signed by Stan Lee and Todd Mcfarlane, then pressed and resubmitted for grading. I was beyond ecstatic when I opened the box this past March (when I received it back).
