    My 16 modern books received 9-16-20 (having having been at CCS for 4+ months for a quick press) just got acknowledged as received at CGC. If I read their board correctly I now have just two more months to wait for them to be graded. For those planning on getting your comics pressed & graded remember their posted turn-around-times mean between 7-8 months wait. OUCH!

    So my 16 moderns received 9/16 (with quick press) are still in received status. When sent in the pressing was listed at 69 work days. Now it's 94 work days. I'm as patient as the next person but it would be nice if CGC would step up on their webpage or through e-mail and tell people exactly what's going on.

    I think that puts you well over 90 work days (I'm currently at 89) but they don't specify what their down days are. Based on your time frame my moderns, being received 9/16 and going for a Quick Press (8 fewer work days), should go to grading soon. As of 1/19 still marked Received. Of course CGC makes no guarantees about turn around time so you just gotta wait.

    If you add Pressing you'd be looking at about a 9 month turn around time. Wow!

    My 16 Moderns went for a quick press and were received on 9/16. They are still listed in received status as of 1/18.

    If I read this right your Moderns were Received on 9/4 and are finally going to ship for grading on 1/18? Did your Moderns go for a quick press or full pressing? My Moderns were received on 9/16 (quick press) and have yet to ship to grading.

    This is just the pressing. They have yet to go to grading.

    Sent in my first 16 comics, Moderns with a quick press: Status, Received 9/16 Status, as of 1/15, Received They haven't gone to grading yet. These have got to be over the 80 working days by now. Anyone know how many days they closed during the holidays?

    I'm brand new to CGC. I just sent in my first round of Bronze Age comics and didn't notice the note on the packing slip it said "pack the comics in order as they are entered on the packing slip". I ended up sending them in reverse order by mistake. Is this going to be a major problem? Frank
