  2. I added a request for notes of this preview, here's a sample of the inside pages of Malibu Sun #6
  3. My copy of Knights of the Dinner Table #1, here's a Facebook comment Jolly Blackburn posted after he saw my copy - yeah we only printed 3,000. I have to think a 1/3 if those were trashed. We gave that issue away at a few cons in 94/95 and I definitely saw them later lying on benches on window seals at old convention center in Milwaukee. People would take them to be polite when we offered it to them and then you'd see then toss it I the trash further down the aisle. Too funny. (I don't blame them. It did look like ).
  4. Here's something interesting, if Deadworld #10 has first Crow preview, then Caliber Presents #15 features first Madman by Allred on the back cover! Predates Creatures of the ID by a couple of months.
  5. Bumping this awesome section with my latest acquired copy of Visions #1 along with other Flaming Carrot Keys! Plus 2000AD Prog #2 featuring 1st Judge Dredd, I need more recommendation of indie keys! BTW does anyone here have a nude variant of Razor #51???
  6. Been away from posting for a while again but here's some recent goodies for this week featuring The Goon, Death and a falling Hawkman with Zatanna's 1st appearance
  7. Great show as always! I left the event around 1130 to restock on some bags n boards at a LCS and a quick bite but couldn't make it back because my tire ran into a surprise pothole by the I-405 which I thought the tire just flatten but the actual wheel broke! Spent a couple minutes putting on the spare donut and headed home because all tire shops by me were closed!
  8. Got these 3 swell books today! Color reprinted of Deadline featuring Tank Girl's first appearance and them 2 pricey Spawn issues!
  9. I am also curious if refreshments are being available like last year's delightful event!
  10. Oh yeah! There was another time I could've picked up a newsstand copy for a $1 while digging at my local con but handled it over to my buddy that had it on his wishlist!
  11. Got these during a shop going out of business sale in the same box for 50% off $3 I believe back around 09!
  12. Only mere days away! I'll be on the hunt for reader's copies of Action Comics 242, Flash 105 & 139, Superbly 68, and hopefully a beat up Albedo 2 hahaha!
  13. With today's addition of issue 19, the quadrilogy of Rich Girl Veronica Lodge is complete!
  14. Hahaha of yeah Salo is not for the faint of heart, the film could be called the first torture porn I think, the director did get murder by a male street prostitute that might of been an extra in the movie. I only seen it all the way once with a group of co-workers from the glory days of DVD Planet in Huntington Beach. Next time if I could gather another group, I'll showcase the damm thing in HD! Hahaha
  15. Kids!? Me? Nah hahaha! But I do have a goddaughter that I spoil the hell out of, she's only 8 right now but so far I got her interested in Deadpool and Barbie books, I recently got her the first issue bagged with that credit card, still looking for Fashion #1 that's also bagged with another card I think?
  16. First pressing of Salo on DVD with the white inner ring and the current blu ray edition, can't believe that Salo dvd used to rack in hundreds of dollars online during the early 2000s!
  17. My favorite times of the year are July and November when Criterion's are 50% off at Barnes N Noble, currently I'm about 90% in having the collection up to date, the spine numbers are like comic book issues, some are worth more than others! For example spine number 64 which is the Third Man on blu ray can easily fetch over a $100 or the box set of Eric Rohmer's Six Moral Tales which is #342 soared up over $250! Speaking of Warner Archives, I'm working on completing my seasons of Perfect Strangers on DVD!
  18. I'm more of a film collector than a comic guy, some samples of my taste in movies ranging from art films to forgotten video rental gems, no Walmart fillers here!!!
  19. I love Vancouver too!!! Because most of the film was shot in that area besides the actual city of New York!
  20. Back in 89, New Yorkers were afraid of their famous image being slash thru by a killer hahaha
  21. Those are the 2001 editions! I was in heaven when they were release during that time period at toys r us!
  22. Batman animated Batwing & Bat-mobile, BTTF 2 Hoverboard, Carpenter's They Live Mask, Kane Hodder Signed recalled poster of Friday the 13th part 8, and to your left half a pic of EFX's Captain America Shield! I have all the Absolute Sandman's in the centerpiece of the display which I lean my top 10 indie books around.
