Easy to predict that they'd save money in the short-term. Right now, people are generally avoiding theaters. You're getting ticket-sized sales via streaming each month. The average person does not go to 12 movies/year. Easy slide.

With all the errors CGC is having currently, this isn't surprising.
They're squeezing the juice before the fruit goes rotten, my prediction.

Hi
I am trying to upgrade my membership but when trying to add Country/Region there is no option for United Kingdom. I have searched the option but I do not see any options to select.
Has anyone else had this issue?
Due to investigating this issue I have learned the difference between the UK and Great Britain. (Yes, UK is missing from my drop-down list, too.) [Yes, I knew that the UK and Britain are different, I just never cared enough to learn how before.]

It's crazy how incompetent WB's executives have been for about a decade, now. It's not that difficult to simply shut up prior to locking your plan in. How WW3 could be divorced from the DCEU is beyond comprehension; Audiences won't be able to do it.

Haven't been seeing much praise from fans for this season, it might just be another skip for me.

With Tatiana Maslany basically calling out Bob Iger in the actors strike, is She-Hulk done or at least diminished in the MCU now?
The MCU's ability to ditch new characters or story threads without much consequence really shows how divested they are in their own properties, and the audience has followed suit.

I might have to agree with you.

Probably speculating for some reason.

If you're the kind of person who gets mad about being blindsided by movies your kids watch FOR ANY REASON, then do you own bit of research first.
Luckily I've only seen a handful of people bemoan the content for age, because for some reason they didn't heed the PG-13 rating. Seems like most people are taking this dutiful approach.

A basic understanding of the difference between humans and mutants is precisely what the audience needs, right? We're talking about Marvel movies and shows, after all.

Just 40 years ago Marvel was much more subtle about it, and did not have this tendency to go after fans. They would include things, but would not actively tell them, if you do not like it then leave.
Fans are voting with their pocket books, which is why X-Men 1 sold over 1 million copies and they are selling maybe 30,000 today. I know there are many other factors, but it does play a role.
When it comes to Beat Me Over the Head vs Subtext, can't think of anyone smart+fun who would choose the former.

Is that really what Marvel is going with now? Banner is somehow a mutant? That doesn't quite make sense, because they're creating a 3rd, new category of "human". Mutants, which are born different; Humans, which cannot evolve, and; Mutates, who are human until they become mutant. That's unnecessarily convoluted.

Looks like a dried tear or something.

1. Is there an optimal number of books to ship at one time (I am speaking mostly for the Modern and Vintage tiers)? 5 / 10 / 50 / 100?
2. I am assuming that it is best to ship all the same tier together, but wanted to ask?
3. Can you specify a single book in the submission for pre-grading? If I had 10 books and one of them was a crusty Hulk #181, could I ask for the pre-grade on only that #181 or is it applied to the whole shipment?
4. Same question as #3, expect for pressing services ?
5. How are books that are on the border of $400 handled? Some books are only worth $400 after they are graded and if they are high enough --> would I get a call and someone say "This book is a $500 and we have charge."?
- CGC will return-ship in batches of 25, so it's best to submit 25 books at a time on the same invoice. (Each invoice ships separately, i.e. Modern would be 1 box, Unlimited would be another.)
- You can ship all books together, but CGC will ship per-invoice as previously mentioned.
- You can pre-screen a select amount of books sure, but I think that may be a separate invoice? Hopefully someone else who knows will chime in.
- Adding pressing is definitely a separate invoice.
- If you under-value your comics, yes, CGC will call you to charge you more money lol. Keep in mind that these values are for insurance purposes.

I do love the irony of Barbie's disillusion parallel being lost, though.

Again - you're objectively wrong here.
$780 million worldwide in just 11 days proves either
1) it's not preaching or
2) if it is, it's not alienating audiences - at least, not in any way that actually matters in the real world.
And in terms of gaslighting, 1/3 of the domestic audience is men, not 1/4 as you stated.
I am also not a misandrist by any stretch of the imagination. As @sfcityduck noted, you're misusing the term.
Mocking a small subset of weak men who feel somehow threatened by a movie about a toy doll in no way denotes misandry.
Nor does pointing out their weakness or fragility, LOL.
No, I'm not. A movie making money doesn't mean it's "not preachy". Saying something misandrist and being a misandrist are 2 different things. I notice that you guys like to reduce arguments to language rather than the accurate points being made.

This is an interesting point. I'm not sure I completely agree. Did the audience for a movie like for example Schindler's List go strictly for entertainment?
See my "fruit and apples" comment.

If you cannot explain an argument you are not making one.
It doesn't need to be explained because you're pretending to not know the definition of words. Time for you to move on.

I want to see Galactus done right, but having him as the MCU FF's first villain would be a galactic mistake.
