    All my “sell” books go to CGC. All my PC books go to Voldy. It will be that way until CGC fixes this issue, as its incredibly unsightly (especially lately, it seems worse than ever).

    OP is right. Maybe its the boomers, maybe not, but most all the SA run books under NM are on decline, and have been for some years now. GA is not infallible either. Non horror/bondage/superhero books are either stagnant or declining; especially under NM. Why? Dunno for sure. Can certainly speculate. Boomers? Graded comics and the rise of the 9.8? Older folks dying off leaving few left to care about Donald Duck or DickTracy? I would surmise its a combination of quite a few factors ??‍♂️ Interesting topic ??

    I've become aware of a very large collection of GA books (no restoration noted), where the owner has confirmed a liquid cleaning process was used to remove dirt, oils, stains, shadows, etc.. The question is, should those books be disclosed as cleaned? Should solvent cleaning be considered restoration, given that it is usually undetectable? Should those books have a restoration label? The situation "feels" shady given the official definition of restoration, and I'd like the forum's input if possible. CLEANING

    From what I understand, most books are manufactured with defects that prevent 9.9-10. Centering, etc. Removing handling defects to perfection isnt going to guarantee you a 9.9.
